I also think so because for the fourth place will only be contested by two clubs in the remainder of this season (Arsenal and Tottenham), while Manchester United can only chase the fifth position in the standings for the remainder of this season because if Arsenal and Tottenham had lost one more time and Manchester United was able to survive by drawing and winning, so the fifth position is still possible for Manchester United to take.

To think that Villareal will beat Liverpool and go to next stage and then telling people do not watch football is a bit of a oxymoron. Liverpool, I mean we are talking about Liverpool here. I get that Bayern was good and somehow Villareal managed to beat them and kudos to them, but do you really believe that they could do that all over again and this time against Liverpool? I see zero chance for Villareal this time around.
It will be easy win for Liverpool, for them it is nothing different than beating any other team they have so far. This is a team that could win it all and nobody would be shocked, they could even turn things around and win FA cup and Premier league in the same season, would be very difficult but not really shocking if it happens.

Did you watch the first match between Bayern and Villareal?
Villareal were much better than Bayern and it is a miracle that the match ended with only a minimal victory of the Spanish team.
In Germany, Bayern were better but could not do much against the great defense of the Spanish team.
Therefore, be aware that Villareal did not accidentally qualify for the semifinals, or because they was very lucky, but thanks to the excellent tactics of the game.
I agree that Liverpool is a slight favorite, but they have two very difficult games against Villareal and everything is still open.

It is ok to think that Liverpool is going to win the match but I find it really unbelievable that people are still thinking Liverpool is going to win this match without any problem.

Because we also thought the same thing when Villarreal played against Bayern Munich.
Nobody gave them a chance against Bayern Munich but they did manage to win that match and they won that match by playing good football not just buying some dumb luck.

For many fans Bayern was a big favorite to win this competition, just as Barcelona was a big favorite to win the Europa League.
We all know what happened in the end.
European competitions are very long and difficult, and it's not easy to play every game at a top level.
You can play perfectly all season and then play one game a little weaker and drop out of the competition.
Ask Guardiola and Manchester City what they think of this?

But they do not have to do without Benzema? Am I missing something, I checked everywhere and he is neither injured nor booked for the game, which means that he should be able to play right? I mean the sentence "they can't do without benzema" sounds like he won't be playing but he will be playing and they can with him on the roster as we all have seen before. If they managed to beat PSG and Chelsea, then there is no way of knowing if they can beat City as well.

I do believe that City has a higher chance, I do believe that City will go to next stage, but when you have a player like Benzema on the pitch, we never know what he may do to surprise us.

You are right. Manchester United is not playing well against strong teams. They are losing against every renowned team. They will face Chelsea and Liverpool in the next matches. And the idea is that they will lose these two matches as usual. Arsenal and Tottenham, on the other hand, are already far ahead of Manchester United. So the chances of United qualifying for the Champions League are almost nil.

Liverpool are going to have a more difficult matchup in the semi finals. Villarreal are still worse than them of course but we can't overlook Villarreal's performance so far. They have eliminated two big teams in the previous rounds. And they have nothing to lose against Liverpool too. The problem is Manchester United is not playing as a team and the players also seem to have no chemistry with each other. and obviously, Cristiano Ronaldo alone cannot do everything in the team.  The way I see it is that he is doing his job which is scoring goals but the rest of the team should also help him by making more chances and also defending well enough. and the way Manchester United has been so inconsistent this season I really do not expect much from them at this stage.

It cannot be ruled out that they can make a new stunt. Things are going a little less in the competition, but hidden forces seem to be emerging in the CL. Liverpool is expected to continue, but Villareal is certainly not without a chance. I think 80-20% Liverpool will go through to the final. Nobody wants a Liverpool-Man City final. honestly speaking tottenham is bad, they can't win even when they have a great opportunity to play against some weak team, i know that in the last games they were doing very well, they won some games and even scored a lot of goals, but they always start to win for a while then start to lose for a while and just now that it's a bad time, they started to lose points, something meaningless, they lost against Brighton, then they went to draw against brentford, that way they didn't make it to the champions league so soon. I even doubt that in the next seasons they will be able to reach the champions league. I wonder how tottenham fans deal with all this? It must be hard to be a tottenham fan.

Manchester United has not been consistent at all and the problem is almost all the teams in front of them are quite consistent at the moment and does not really seem to be losing any points anytime soon. or at least not at that amount where  Manchester United can benefit from that.

I really don't think Manchester United is going to be able to finish in the top five let alone the top 4. I expect Liverpool to win today against Everton and that is going to put Liverpool and Manchester City in the same amount of points. but Liverpool is going to be ahead in goal difference.

I Think, both match will be interesting. My prediction goes to Manchester city and Liverpool to be in the Final.Manchester played very well this season and City is more strong team than Real Madrid. I Think Liverpool will win easily against villarreal. But Manchester city and Real Madrid match will be hard but Manchester city is favourite.

You are right. Liverpool had to use their full strength to win. Villarreal is a very tactical team. They will probably apply a new strategy against Liverpool and will definitely want to win.
