I think many Manchester City fans are behind Pep Guardiola no matter if they win the UEFA Champion's League or not. Pep is the only manager that is criticised for not winning the champion's league. Sir Alex Ferguson won 2 in 30 years, many didn't talk about him getting sacked. Well, these points are understandable accurate but Fergie didn't spent over half a billion pounds to recruit players.

In this case, I don't think it's appropriate to compare something that doesn't need to be compared.
but for Pep I still feel he deserves to be at City because regardless of what he can't force his will when the team he coaches loses mentally in the Champions League then there is no need to blame.
His performances at City have been outstanding and he still deserves to be, besides if he does end up leaving at least for now it's quite difficult to find a new coach to suit the players.

Generally speaking, you are right if you want to know the team that has it all ready for a season you will see it in their performance and the premier league gives them that platform to thrive on when you see a team that is constantly losing their matches you will easily spot that from how their points keep dropping and their keep sliding behind in their points, Manchester City have kept the number one position on the league table for some times now and Liverpool have tried all their possible best to overthrow them but they remain unchecked out and I guess the 2020/2021 premier league season is going to end with Manchester City having the highest point.

It is clear that the quotes of the teams do not always correspond to the final result. I'm saying that these quotes are inadequate. These quotes are as if Liverpool were leading 1-0 in the first half, but the game hasn't even started yet  
As for the mentality, I would not say that Real and Liverpool are very different - they are two cup fighters who are used to fighting in knockout games.

This finals a bit weird though, not that it is any weirder than most finals but here it is a bit different kind of weird. Like for example last year everyone believed that City would finally win, and Chelsea was clear underdogs but they managed to get it, which is understandable sometimes underdogs wins and that's not rare. This is what I'm worried about, Klopp is taking too high a risk for the quality of his players who actually have to perform at their maximum in the Final but are instead sent down to finish the match in the Premier League. Certainly a plus point for Ancelotti who is much more able to do the second alternative.
