I think the most profitable one this alt season will be COS (Crypto one stop) token from the COSS exchange. Basically this token had an all time high of 3$ and has recently fallen to its all time low of 3 cents. A new team recently took over and they have been progressing the exchange so much that people will be surprised when they come back to use it. I expect the token will go back even higher than 3$ soon. That will be a more than 100x return relatively quickly!

I believe most alts are trying to compete by being the "best", and this is a wrong approach, as the competition is INSANE these days. I think you should be asking more fundamental questions instead of just what you should buy or what is hot.
Questions like:
Which alts have consistently shown development and progress and offered a good return on investment?
What is it about those successful alts that have made them one of the top 50 coins?
Are there similar qualities in other projects?

Then, start asking the detailed questions:
Does the coin have an actual use, platform, or product?
How are the coins distributed and what is the supply?
Has there been consistent development?

Also, if the coin you want is only on one exchange that is not very famous, you should look into that seriously.

i don't see any new project launched until now make investor profitable with their investment, because every new altcoin/token are listed on exchange always below in ico price

Top 20 coins are a good investment because those have less risk, new currencies mostly like pump and dump. Since initially volume remain lower, people can easily manipulate it and pump the price to get attention.

Now that the price was a little dumped it could be the best chance to buy it. There will be a lot of chances for it to grow when BTC suddenly stabilize and ETH might be pulled up.

Choosing the existing top 20 cryptocurrencies will have a chance to be profitable, but as you said, we have thousands of altcoin which can be one of the valuable coins. The top 10 cryptocurrencies still become the popular option for people, and they already buy a big amount of altcoin, and many of them still hold the coins. But the new cryptocurrency will be profitable too as long as their project reliable, and they can compete with the existing coins, and they can beat the old coins to reach a better position in the CMC.

I usually choose among the top 100. But for sure, there are also other hot cryptocurrencies outside 100. I have a handful of these coins. I have Eidoo (EDO), for example. I also have NEXT. Bancor (BNT) is also one very trusted project that is outside the top 100. These are not fresh currencies though. The freshest among them is NEXT. But I have high hopes in all of them.

Actually, Bitcoin remains the most attractive choice for all crypto investors. Altcoins have become less attractive for investing. It is likely that at the moment the market can wait for a few more serious corrections, which creates a good buying opportunity. With a low budget threshold, it’s worth a closer look at EOS and Tron. These projects directly compete with Ethereum, while the original project has recently come across community criticism. Binance Coin seems to be cool.

Not all new altcoins are profitable and worthy as investment. Not even all IEOs are profitable because they all depend on the project. Indeed there is a new altcoin that is feasible as an investment, but we must do research first because every day new projects or new tokens emerge.

I think the most profitable one this alt season will be COS (Crypto one stop) token from the COSS exchange. Basically this token had an all time high of 3$ and has recently fallen to its all time low of 3 cents. A new team recently took over and they have been progressing the exchange so much that people will be surprised when they come back to use it. I expect the token will go back even higher than 3$ soon. That will be a more than 100x return relatively quickly!

I used to own COS tokens back in the day but failed to sell at the highs and I could have become very comfortable. I agree that it's a pretty decent project and am thinking to grow a bag there again, seeing that it\s sitting now under three cents. Plus the fact that you can earn FSA from the trading fees, so in a way, it's almost like a staking coin as well. I had over 100k before so it would be nice to maybe even get a bag of say 20-30k COS and just let it sit there. I am trading another coin which has a similar price range so if I can make a little profit form trading that each week, I may just start putting some of it into COS as it has huge potential with only 200 million total supply to rise again in another boom period.  I am also looking into chainlink and grow a small bag of that as well but it is much more expensive in price so I would end up with much less of it.

I think the most profitable one this alt season will be COS (Crypto one stop) token from the COSS exchange. Basically this token had an all time high of 3$ and has recently fallen to its all time low of 3 cents. A new team recently took over and they have been progressing the exchange so much that people will be surprised when they come back to use it. I expect the token will go back even higher than 3$ soon. That will be a more than 100x return relatively quickly!

COS is a good one, I owned 100k when it was 3 bucks on the high but was stupid and didn't sell at the top. I am planning to bag a few now while the price is still attractive, but at the moment trying first to accumulate EUREKA COIN. Their project is really rocking as well, they are blockchain and they are owned by Polaris Universal LTD, a company that has an umbrella of businesses and also day traders, trading forex and crypto under their belt. They use a portion of their profits every month to buy back and burn the coin plus 10% of the transaction fee is burned also. So I am first trying to bag around 200-250k of this, that's my initial target while it is still sitting pretty under 1 cent. It goes to one dollar a pop, I make back almost what I lost in the last bear market, just with this one coin. I would sell all at a dollar would sell some and buyback on the retrace and bag more abut take some profits in BTC also and stablecoins backed by gold. As it diminishes yearly in supply it would be worth holding onto a decent sized bag for retirement plans.

These are some of the most established coins anyway with the biggest market capitalisation and thus provides more liquidity as well as stability. I think these common properties makes them the popular investment choice. It has higher security fund security mechanisms. I invest in them when I don't want to really take a huge gamble on new or more volatile altcoins which usually have a higher profit margin or loss margin

Many coins survive even in long bearish trend and most of them are the popular coins. I have few popular coins that didnt lose their value though its not their season to sell out.

Aside from the top 20 in CMC, I will recommend iost. Its a token that I believe will skyrocket in the future. If you want to learn more about it then try to conduct your own research because its just my opinion as a hodler.

Ethereum doesn't look good, especially after ETH 2.0 got postponed. The other two coins that you had mentioned (Litecoin and Waves) have lost more than 90% of their value since 2017, and not too many people are investing in them. Their trade volume, as well as the mining hashpower is on constant decline. Investing in established coins may be a safer option, but the ones you had mentioned are not suitable for that purpose.

As it stands today, altcoin are loosing their relevance in the cryptocurrency space daily. This could be clearly depicted in the coin market cap where we have bitcoin dominance of over 70%. The new altcoin are the worst hit as several ICO's and IEO's list on exchanges far lesser than their ICO price making the investors regret their decision. From my point of view, there's no hot altcoin presently, it's best to hold bitcoin and few popular altcoin like ethereum.
