How many more times should Ashwin and Jaddu bail India out of bad situations in the test format? These two have proven yet again as to why they are a legendary duo and I am not looking forward to their retirement from tests at all.

It can be said with great confidence that India will definitely win the final match and there is no chance of a whitewash.

Yeah. Am pretty certain now that India has this one in the bag, but this win is just a consolation prize for them since the Kiwis have the last laugh thanks to their history making series win.

Ashwin is already crossed 38 with Jadeja is going to cross 36 next month so how much time they have in game most chances we will have them just one more season with Jadeja can stay for few years, but now it's time for Ashwin to give up and try for some other way it's good for him as well.
India is already had few good quality spin bowlers which can give them good results in coming years so looking forward with new talent is much better instead of staying with them because its also part of the game.
In Australia both will be not effective as we have completely different conditions and pitches so now they have to wait for next home series where they can give their best.

Many thought that maybe India could give a lead of many runs in this Test but in reality it was not possible now that the score is level and the lead is four runs. Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin remain unbeaten on the wicket so if these two batsmen can bat a few overs then maybe India can give a lead of 50+ runs.

India got the lead of more than 30 runs which was not high and everyone was sure, India has chased the trailing score because in the test matches, a 30 score does not contain any value and like this New Zealand has got the lead of more than 140 runs once again. New Zealand was stronger from the start of the series as they have won the back to back two matches against India. The Indian team when they have all their important and pressure handlers players like Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sahrma, Shubmna Gill and many others, these are the nightmares of the other teams but not for New Zealand.

However, there are quite a lot of twists in this match. New Zealand's last pair will start the innings tomorrow and they don't have much lead to defend. India should chase whatever the score they will get, but they will need to bat well in any case.

Batting meltdown is a big reason but it wasn't the only reason and batting collapse at the top has been happening regularly for quite some time.

IMHO and honestly India's home dominance came to an end because both Ashwin and Jadeja had an off series, especially Ashwin. These 2 stalwarts were the unmoved ingredients in 12 years of home dominance and they were the savior and bailed us out with the bat countless times and with the ball every single time, not this time and it's alright as you can't expect them to carry a team for so long.  

If these 2 guys had a satisfactory series with the bat then the result could've been different, there is an inside joke and meme for a reason that Indian real batting starts at 6th,7th, and 8th numbers.

India and the team batted well on the second day, we saw that they had lost 4 wickets yesterday for 86 runs and they managed to collect a good score today. They batted with great distance, in today's match, the two Indian batsmen Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill were able to reach a very good level in the partnership of these two. After Rishabh Pant got out, the number of runs has decreased a little, but Shubman Gill is batting wonderfully at the moment, he is adding patiently towards scoring a century. Jadu Jadeja took 9 wickets with good support from the Ashwin and Sunder after end of the two days play New Zealand leading by 143 most chances we will have end of the game before tea in third day play as last man is coming and things are completely favourable for them to took early wicket and complete this series.

After tour of Australia we have tour of England which is also difficult and things could be not as we have in last tour, so better selectors needed to search for new blood and go through in this red ball format for improvement in performance as well.

I still don't have a complete trust that India will win this match for sure because the pitch is turning and our batting unit is kind of terrible especially Rohit and Kohli so even if the target is 170 kinda thing I feel India might struggle to chase it down.

Only good thing is Washington is evolving, so in the next couple of years he will be read to fit in the shoes of Ashwin and as I already said they need someone like Pujara to grind the innings and don't expect Kohli to does that job which why he is not playing in his natural attitude since all the players around him are kind of stroke makers so team might want Kohli to play defense but it's not his kind of success in this format.
