South African batsmen failed to capitalize the place South African bowlers have set them in. With 16 wickets falling in a single day we can say that the pitch in mirpur is not batting friendly. It didn't take too much of a prediction to say that New Zealand would win easily against India as the target from India was very limited in the first Test match for New Zealand. Basically a bad performance in the first innings defeated them in this match. The fact that the team which could not score 50 plus runs in the first innings scored 450 plus runs in the second innings is definitely positive for Team India. Maybe one match Team India lost but they still have two Test matches to turn around and if they play as planned they can definitely win these two Test matches. 

Sarfraz Khan did not praise this batsman because the way he batted in ODI style is undoubtedly admirable.

Some people here are being way too hard on Bangladesh in my opinion since the pitch is bowler friendly though their batsmen could have done better for sure. South Africa is struggling too primarily because of their new players.

You guys even making things tough for us and Aus as well lol. Before the IND vs NZ and BAN vs SA. India and Australia were the only competitors for the WTC finals but now equations seem to have changed drastically. Good from a cricketing point of view and neutrals will grab the popcorn but fans of possible finalists will have a hard time.

I don't understand why the Bangladesh cricket team is so degraded. Does it seem to depend on the coach or something else? Some doubt the former coach was behind the destruction of a cricket team. Cricket team has been pushed towards the darkness day by day from where it can't come out. The match against India turned out to be a very sad match. So much disaster is coming that it is amazing to think. Again the phone is playing in the field but they aren't seeing any improvement. Let's see the new coach coming and holding his hand if we can see the new light. But Kyle Verreynne proved everyone wrong and he single handed made 114 runs and that helped South Africa team to get a big lead in the first innings.

By the way the pitch is very good for bowling that is why it allows to bowler to pick wickets very quickly and example is in front of our eyes. Bangladesh lost two quick wickets in the 2nd innings too and are now 53 for two wickets down.
