Anderson gets his 691st test wicket in the form of Shubman Gill. This is why I mentioned previously that he is a much better choice for Indian conditions, when compared to Mark Wood or any of the other younger pacers. Spin bowlers have disappointed so far. Shoaib Bashir picked up Rohit Sharma early in his spell, but after that he has been quite wayward. And Tom Hartley seems to be nowhere near the spinner he was in the first match. It looks as if Joe Root needs to come to bowl without much delay, or else Indians will just walkaway with the match.

England managed to get two wickets in the morning session, but Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a half-century. England might be a bit happier, but they still need another breakthrough. Creating pressure with some maiden overs is crucial.
Unfortunately, Mr Captain played his innings unnecessary on a batting-friendly track and lost his wicket. Subman hasn't performed well enough for a spot in the test side and might need to be sent home to work on correcting his technical deficiencies.

Today's 2nd Test match of India vs England team has already started. India team has come to bat now. They scored 163 runs in 47 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Yes, Yashasvi Jaiswal missed his century in the first Test match but completed the best century in the second Test match so far he is unbeaten on 121 runs. However, India's best batsman and opener Rohit Sharma is not in that form, he performed poorly in the first test match and even got out for just 14 runs in the first innings of the second test match. But since Yashasvi Jaiswal is still unbeaten on 121 runs, a lot of responsibility and reliance will be placed on him to prolong India's innings. If Rajat Patidar can provide the right partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal then India can easily score 400 plus runs in the first innings of this Test match.

Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal created his first century in Test and I think it's the first century of his career, I also think he is in the mood to create 150, he is the only one who started innings, and present at this time means he is the opener who is present at this time. Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer can't play the bowling of the England team but who is paying is the name of Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal.

I think if the Indian batting team plays like that so maybe after some time they will declare the innings, but I hope that they do it tomorrow. It's Virat decision to take a break from the two tests for personal reasons and he did same in the previous weeks too, so the accusation of team doesn't want Virat to play is just absturd.

I said India will score 200 at the end of the session, and as I said they crossed 200 now another partnership is building up between Jaiswal and Patidar and both batsmen looks solid in defence while keep scoring runs with some attacking shots which is good to watch. 400 is on the scorecard now.

He entered the field as an opening batsman and has remained unbeaten so far and the other three players who have been dismissed have also performed well. But comparatively England team is not doing good bowling performance as they are not able to fall more wickets till now. First test between Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan which is currently playing at Colombo SSC after winning toss Sri Lanka bowling first and having good success with just Rahmat Shah done some resistance and have 91 runs which is impressive from him against these Sri Lankan spinners which are doing good job and Fernando and Jayasuriya having 6 wickets between them after A Fernando strike in first over of the match and took Ibrahm Zardan.

Most chances we will have around 200 from the Afghanistan but still this could be not enough for them to avoid big defeat because they have no quality bowlers for this test match as well which is surely going to be big problem for them now we have 30 overs left in today's play and things are looking for the early end of this test match.

Very impressive inning from the Jaiswal as he holds nerve and done good job for the India while all others are fail to do anything big after having good start; wicket is batting friendly which will help batsmen on second and third day which is good for the England but things are still going in favour of India; now we have just 8 overs left in first days play and having this score they could be happy and surely looking for the 400 around because this could be good for them especially for the bowlers.

Saqib Bashir doing good job on his debut as bowled 23 overs and have one important wicket and veteran Anderson also done good job with having another important wicket of the Gill who was trying to settle after having good start.

The amount of patience and batting skills that has been displayed by him today has to be applauded. Asitha Fernando bowled 14 overs and took three wickets with 24 runs.

No one else actually contributed anything close to him. No one else actually even scored more than 35. If he is still there till the end, I think India will be able to score at least 400. And Ashwin is also in the middle. So they might very well get more than 400.
