Sri Lanka won the toss and quite predictably chose to bat first. And this means that Bangladeshi batsmen will be up against the Lankan spinners on the 4th and 5th days of the match. At this point, Sri Lanka has a definite upper hand, and winning the toss has put them on a further higher ground. If Bangladesh wants to have a chance in this match, then they need to take quick wickets and need to ensure that the Lankan batsmen doesn't get time to dig in. Bangladesh can't afford to lose nor draw this test else they will lose this series. To get the advantage of 4th and 5th day, Sri Lanka need to score good runs in first innings. Last fixture of an underrated but full-fledged series. Bongs did win the ODI series but overall they are trailing Lankans 3-4.

Surprisingly, the last test match was dominated by seamers and the margin was quite big but there might be a sign of relief for Bangladesh because Skakib is now in the squad and walks comfortably into the Playing XI and there won't be any surprise if they go back to usual turner for the last match.

In the first test, Bangladeshi spinners (Taijul Islam) were able to out a Sri Lankan batsman (Vishwa Fernando) in the first innings and all the rest of the batsmen were out by the pacers.
But in the second innings, the Bangladeshi spinners were able to get out 6 Sri Lankan batsmen.  So the return of Shakib Al Hasan in the second Test will really act as a bonus point for Bangladesh.
Shakib Al Hasan can perform two types of performances at the same time, so Bangladesh definitely needed Shakib Al Hasan to make a comeback in the second Test.

The second Test match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be held today. Sri Lanka can field with the first match XI as they have been completely successful with the first match XI but Bangladesh XI selection may be different. Excellent batting by Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis in this series as long as they remained on the wicket pressure was on the opposite team Bangladesh bowlers have not the ability to bowled the Srilanka team under less score the way the Srilanka team is playing they will win this match easily because the batting line is the weakness of Bangladesh teams against top ranked teams
