Yeh it's true that south African team has decent bowling and batting lineup while according to west indies previous matches performances against Australia and england it's very hard to say they will show decent performance and will give tough time to thier opponent but it's game of challenge may be mericale really catch them, anyway south African team has done his job as they already scored 270 while lost his 6th wicket so I believe at least they will scored 320 which will be a fair enough target for south African bowling to catch up thier opponent also west indies hasn't any quality batter which can assure to catch up required target as in previous matches they can't even filled the 250 around target so it will be a tough challenge let see how well they improve thier team strength and structure

In my point of view South Africa didn't make a good score but when I look at the opposite team so this score is looking big. Because West Indies has played a series with England recently and we have seen that how they performed in that series they didn't win a single test match.
And for now South Africa has made 344 runs and they have lost 8 wickets and I think they will reach almost 370 runs. And if we take a look on batsmen of the South African team so we will see two shining stars in the squad first is Temba Bavuma the captain who made 86 runs and second is Tony de Zorzi he made 78 runs. Let's see where the South Africa will stop and what will the West Indies do.?

Zorzi and Bavuma's two innings were crucial. Zorzi scored 78 runs and Bavuma scored 86 runs. But Kyle Verreynne and Mulder batted well enough. Kyle Verreynne returned to the dressing room with 39 and Mulder remained unbeaten with 37. South Africa scored 344 runs in 113 overs

West Indies are not in good form. This team played very badly against England in the last series. It is unlikely that West Indies will win the Test match against South Africa. But the match is likely to be a draw if the West Indies batsmen can bat responsibly. Because South Africa has collected 344 runs after batting for 2 days. If West Indies can bat 90-110 overs in their first innings then I think the match will be a draw.

Well.. this is a very strange statistic. Normally one would expect a higher average first innings score compared to the second innings. Anyway, South Africa will be the strong favorites to win this match, especially in case they are able to score at least 250 runs in the first innings. So at the end of two days, South Africa made 344 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. After a good start by Tony de Zorzi and Temba Bavuma , there has been a reasonable batting performance by the middle lower  order team. I think they should have to declare this innings soon so as to give West Indies a chance to bat and see how they bat on this pitch.

Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales took two wickets each from the West Indies. Jomel Warrican took 3 wickets and all of them has a good economy rate. West Indies bowlers did a good job of not letting the South African batsmen run away with the score. West Indies bowlers did a reasonable job, now its upto the WI batsmen to bat well and not lose the match.

Let's watch out, If this happen then this is the good start of match but still need strong performance in bowling inning.

Unless a miracle happens in the next few years, Bavuma will  be remembered as the quota product who kept away talented batsmen from the South African national team.

Temba Bavuma played an outclassed innings of 86 runs unfortunately, Bayuma missed his well deserved century by few runs short but reached the team first inning total to 300 plus. Mulder and Rabada are now available at crease Mulder is playing at 37 runs not out while Rabada is also playing at 12 runs. I personally think that this is a very good score that was given by South Africa. but one thing I am worried about is that the West Indies team might actually be able to get a draw out of this match. because already it is the end of day two. And West Indies just started their first innings few minutes ago. so there is a chance for West Indies to actually draw the match if they cannot score well enough or find themselves in a bad situation in this test match. But I will hope that South Africa will be able to do well in Bowling West Indies out cheaply. because we all know as you have said, West Indies is not that good when it comes to playing in test cricket. if South Africa can put in a pressure on West Indies, there is a very good chance for South Africa to win this test match. but South Africa will have to bowl West Indies out very quickly. otherwise, the match is going to end in a draw

I thought South Africa had a chance to win this match. But right now I will say that South Africa will not win the match. The match will undoubtedly be a draw.

South Africa managed to collect a descent. South African players have batted well. On the other hand, the two openers of West Indies also batted well, losing 1 wicket and now West Indies have collected 53 runs. Mikyle Louis was dismissed for 35 off 90 balls. Kraigg Brathwaite scored 13 runs from 72 balls. Kraigg Brathwaite is batting at only 18 strike rate. He is batting brilliantly. And that's why I say the match will be a draw.

Just like I expect south African has done exactly like that even much more then my expectations, well I was sure that even 300 target will be enough for weak batting lineup like West Indies but now thier opponent scored 350+ so it's a advance indication for south African that they Gona easily dominate thier opponent also they have quality pacer which will really restrict thier opponent below the required. Anyway from some views many people taught it Gona be a drawn but I believe as soon as rain stopped west indies will lose most of thier important wicket before even scored 200 which we probably seen in thier previous matches where bowling were not much upto the mark so things were currently completely favoring south African if by chance West does such unexpected things then it will be much more then a miracle lol. Well let see how south African pacer get thier batter.
