In today's 1st Test match between West Indies vs South Africa, South Africa team came out to bat in the 1st Innings. They scored 357 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 117.4 overs. We have to wait for a few more days to see which team will win this match.  Which team will win?

West Indies set out to chase down a target of 357 runs, though they mustered 145 runs on the third day. They were supposed to bat on the fourth day but due to rain, the match was not held but was delayed until the weather cleared. And 212 runs are still to be collected to meet the target of going to South Africa. West Indies have only six wickets in that case so they have to play well. The odds of the first Test match seem to suggest that West Indies may not win against South Africa but South Africa is the most likely team to win.

I think it will be good for the West Indies team to focus on drawing the match otherwise South Africa could win this game as in the first innings, they made a good target of 357 and now the West Indies team is batting on 145 with the loss of 4 wickets.

Don't know about West Indies but the weather at Port of Spain would really want this match to be a draw. Day 04 session 01 has been delayed due to rain and it is now very certain that the West Indies team can't be out twice in the remaining time left in the test.



Also i think the test match between West Indies and South Africa will be a draw as the West Indies team first innings have not finished till now and two innings are still remaining after this one.

In short, until now 2.5 innings are left and the days left are just two that is why I think this match could be drawn. The batting performance of the West Indies team in their first innings was excellent, but they could hold on to their wickets. They lost four wickets on the third day due to which they are still under a lot of pressure and can increase the number of runs comparatively. West Indies still need to collect huge runs to meet the target given by South Africa, 212 runs are still left for West Indies. If West Indies collect 212 runs, the West Indies team will be likely to lead later in this first Test match. But if the batsmen are going to play for 212 today, they must play responsibly with only six wickets remaining. That's why West Indies need to have a great batting performance, and if South Africa team can bowl well, then West Indies can fulfill their target in today's match.

Yes the South Africa bowlers are doing very well this time and as you are saying that they are under pressure it is because of the South Africa bowlers because they are improve themselves and trying to win the game.  have been  But I favor West Indies more because they are a better team but the situation is not telling at the moment.  Currently West Indies batsmen have scored 145 runs.  South Africa pressure is look a bit more difficult or West Indies are play with ease.  And I hope West will achieve this target and win the match.  But under this pressure, it will take time for them to adjust their speed but South Africa should defeat them instead of giving them that time.  At the end we know the result, at this point we can only predict and West Indies will not prove my predict wrong and win the match.  They need more.

And this is already the first session of the fourth day in this test match. So there is every chance that this test match is going to end in a draw. Rain interruption is actually going to decide the fate of the test match in the end.

I am not sure if West Indies would have been able to get close to the score that South Africa put on. But definitely there was a chance. I think even though South Africa was the stronger team going into this match there was a definite chance for West Indies to make the test match competitive. But I guess we will never know what could have happened if there was no rain interruption.

With the latest updates are coming from the ground most chances we are going to have no play on fourth day play now on 15th August Thursday we will be having second test match of this series at the Providence hopefully we will have better end of this match.

South Africa Emerging is very strong team as compared to Zimbabwe Emerging. in first unofficial test match South Africa Emerging scored 432 runs just loss of 3 wickets so far and lead by 216 runs against Zimbabwe Emerging. However, the bowling of ZIM Emerging was not up to the mark and due to this reason South Africa team managed to score 595 runs. It will be unfair if i did not mention Lesego Senokwane who made 280 runs in the first innings. He miss this 300 by just 20 runs when he was LBW by Antum Naqvi. Naqvi took six wickets in that innings and stood out among the West Indies bowlers.

Unfortunately this test match was drawn. South Africa emerging played aggressive scored 595 runs in second inning of the test match. Lesego Senokwane played an outstanding inning of 280 runs that helped South Africa Emerging to set a huge lead runs for Zimbabwe Emerging. Antum Naqvi bowling performance is well picked 6 important wickets and also gives a lot of runs. West indies team lost two wickets on 33 runs, and the second session went on on Day five. Brilliant batting by SA team posted a target of 298 runs for west indies. South Africa are looking to inject some life into a vibrant match as we are already having lost of two days and South Africa in second inning having bazball strategy with rocky batsman Tristan Stubbs hitting all around and having his maiden fifty on 42 balls South African lead is standing at the 278 we are having 72 overs remaining in this match situation is interesting because from here we are having good chance for them in this game if they are having declaration after having lead of 300+ because West Indies will be gone with defensive approach and this will be good for the South African.

South African plane and aggressive approach is clearly indicating they are having good workout for this tour because they are looking for the win and improvement into their ICC ranking currently they are standing at the 7th spot which is looking not good with their current performance and quality.
