The match between West Indies and South Africa ended in a draw. But I would say South Africa team played well enough in the match, they had a great performance throughout this test match. As in the first match no team could win despite trying hard, but the match was a draw till the last minute but in the next match both teams will definitely play with their great performance. And I think the second test match will definitely be played by South Africa with responsibility, and they will win their game, performance is good. But West Indies must improve their game and regret their game more, as they are not in very good form at present.

1 st game was ended and I did not expect that this game was drawn and I believe that South Africa team will win this game their effort was good in 1 st Inning and grab good runs. South Africa team definitely played brilliantly and they made 357 runs in 1 st Inning and West indies team only scored 233 runs. Both have big difference in their first innings effort and runs. Both teams tried hard to win game but last moment this game was drawn no tea won this game. Hope in 2 nd game South Africa team will successfully win game but they made more good effort and hard working with playing responsibility. In 1 st Inning, both Bavuma and Zorzi performed very well and Bavuma made 86 runs and Zorzi made 78 runs. In 2 nd Inning, Stubbs played outstanding effort by scoring 68 runs other Batsman played normally. Hope 2 nd test game will be more exciting and intense between teams and both of them one will win game.

I never expected this match to be a draw even though the South African team had a huge lead in the first innings and in the second innings they performed badly.  And in this case the West Indies team kept up their game and after a long performance this match was evenly matched.  Alick Athanaze collected 92 runs for 116 runs and this is where the West Indies team's highest performance can be seen. This match was very competitive where every player tried hard for his victory.

Yes, I too expected this match would be finished with results and would be won by the South African team but the next match also could be tie due to the South African batting.



In this match in the first 2 days, their first innings was not even finished which is why it was drawn but in the next match South Africa team must have to bat well and try to finish the first innings in one day then it would be great (yes rain also played a part). In the second innings, the South Africans did perform well and they made quick 178 scores but there was not enough time left in the match for South Africa to take remaining 5 wickets of West Indies.

After a shaky start, the West Indies team are trying to built the innings with Alick Athanaze and Kavem Hodge. West Indies lost 3 wickets for 64 runs and till then these two batsmen have taken the score to 121 runs. More than the runs, it is the overs that the West Indies played and survived, matter a lot.

West Indies did not have a promising batting performance in their first innings, but managed to draw the first test match against South Africa with an excellent batting performance in the second innings.

The West Indies cricket team is currently going through a bad time in the Test format. They recently lost the Test series against England and maybe they are trying to improve themselves by learning from that failure. Which may have been reflected in the first match against South Africa, they may try to perform better in the second match as well.

Instead of him, they also could give chance to Muhammad Zeeshan who picked 6 in one match in Under 19s Asia cup that was played in UAE in 2023. Zeeshan also played PSL for Peshawar Zalmi and performed not bad but after he has not played any single match for A team, league or any international match. Don't know why Pakistan waste talents and not give chance to young blood ?

It is the same old story for Bangladesh A tour of Pakistan. Bangladesh got test status 25 years ago. Even now they perform well below some of the top associate nations. And worse still, their best players such as Shakib al Hasan and Mahmudullah are nearing retirement. Younger players such as Liton Das and Tanzid Hasan are not in the best form right now. The future doesn't look very bright for them. During the unofficial test match, none of the batsmen apart from Mahmudul Hasan Joy could manage a score of more than 15. And other than Naseem Shah there were no experienced bowlers on the other side.

We are currently having serious downfall in the quality of test format which is surely going to hurt its marketing as well so its good time for the ICC and all boards to sit and think about because we need to have changes with just 6 teams for the test format 12 teams for the ODI and 18 teams for the T20i with full members status and others need to be stayed in 2nd tier for the improvement in quality because without improvement we can't expect better results and performance from them.

Teams like West Indies and Bangladesh are not having good future in test format because it's long time these teams are completely failed to have improvement and things are going the worst day by day West Indian in last four test matches are having 3 loses and 1 draw with Bangladesh is also suffering badly for long time and new teams like Ireland and Afghanistan are also having not enough test matches.

As we know some day before, there was a controversy on Shaheen's action that he did bad behaviors with the team management but now he has been selected for the test series and I think if he performs well in these matches then he will get a chance in the next matches to play as PCB reports and some actions but still not confirmed. Both Sri Lanka sqaud against England Lions sqaud is playing tour match with each other and today this match has been started among them and first day was fully played and Sri Lanka sqaud batters has begun this match with batting Inning first and after playing their inning, I feel that now this match is one sided. Sri Lanka sqaud all batters were wiped out in first day and their members just managed 139 scores and this is trailing scores for England Lions batters.
