Exactly, South Africa has some chance to win the first test game but more than 90% chance of drawn the test game. West indies team lost two wickets on 33 runs, and the second session went on on Day five. Brilliant batting by SA team posted a target of 298 runs for west indies. Tony de Zorzi played 45 runs innings while T. Stubbs with 68 runs on just facing 50 delivers just like playing T20 cricket. West indies bowlers failed to create pressure on south Africa team their bowlers did not take wickets early.

Now South Africa bowlers need to put pressure on south Africa team to get a result of this game because they need 8 wickets in last 55 overs of the day. I think there is a high chance of winning this game. South African batsmen need some quick wickets and put pressure on West Indies players if they want the result in this game.

The totally situation was saying that the match will be drawn and that has been done. In the second innings, the South African team scored 173 runs for 3 wickets in 29 overs. South Africa team gave a huge lead of 298 runs to West Indies team West Indies must bat well to meet this target. 1 st game was ended and I did not expect that this game was drawn and I believe that South Africa team will win this game their effort was good in 1 st Inning and grab good runs. South Africa team definitely played brilliantly and they made 357 runs in 1 st Inning and West indies team only scored 233 runs. Both have big difference in their first innings effort and runs. Both teams tried hard to win game but last moment this game was drawn no tea won this game. Hope in 2 nd game South Africa team will successfully win game but they made more good effort and hard working with playing responsibility. Yes, I too expected this match would be finished with results and would be won by the South African team but the next match also could be tie due to the South African batting.



In this match in the first 2 days, their first innings was not even finished which is why it was drawn but in the next match South Africa team must have to bat well and try to finish the first innings in one day then it would be great (yes rain also played a part). In the second innings, the South Africans did perform well and they made quick 178 scores but there was not enough time left in the match for South Africa to take remaining 5 wickets of West Indies.

South Africa tried desperately to get the result and batted at a healthy run rate of around 6 RPO in the 2nd innings. West Indies only needed to survive 63 overs which were considerably easy in a test match. After a shaky start, WI better did their best to stitch the partnership and stay at the crease as long as possible. Alick Athanaze played beautifully and saved WI from a defeat, but he missed his maiden test hundred by just 8 runs. Maharaj bowled exceptionally well in both innings and was nominated as player of the match for the first test.

After a shaky start, the West Indies team are trying to built the innings with Alick Athanaze and Kavem Hodge. West Indies lost 3 wickets for 64 runs and till then these two batsmen have taken the score to 121 runs. More than the runs, it is the overs that the West Indies played and survived, matter a lot.

Still around 30+ overs left in the inning and it is very crucial that these two batsmen continue to play over after over. The more deeper the game goes without losing wickets, the better for the WI.

South African approach and tactics were good for having win in short time, but we have good fightback from the West Indian lower order because as we have three quick wickets for the South Africa things were looking not good for them, and I was also expecting some drama at the end, but we have good batting from the Kavem Hodge and Jason Holder because both give good support to their main player who stand for the team to have something positive at the end Alick Athanaze.

We have good stand of 17 overs between Kavem Hodge and Alick Athanaze then as Maharaj remove Kavem Hodge we have Jason Holder at the crease who done good job and stand for 18 overs with Alick Athanaze these two stands of 35 overs give lifeline to West Indies for having end of this match as draw because things were looking not good and South Africa were in good control.

We often see that many teams are able to win Test matches by batting well in the second innings as well. To do well or win a Test match, any team has to put up a good batting performance in both innings and even give the opposition a target that they cannot topple. In the first test match between South Africa and West Indies, we saw that South Africa batted even better in the first innings. West Indies did not have a promising batting performance in their first innings, but managed to draw the first test match against South Africa with an excellent batting performance in the second innings.

The West Indies cricket team is currently going through a bad time in the Test format. They recently lost the Test series against England and maybe they are trying to improve themselves by learning from that failure. Which may have been reflected in the first match against South Africa, they may try to perform better in the second match as well.

I just saw that Naseem Shah also playing this game and picked 3 wickets but I think he should not have to play it because he is a good player and also int his format (A teams) then it does not make sense he is playing A team as he is the permanent player of the International team.

Instead of him, they also could give chance to Muhammad Zeeshan who picked 6 in one match in Under 19s Asia cup that was played in UAE in 2023. Zeeshan also played PSL for Peshawar Zalmi and performed not bad but after he has not played any single match for A team, league or any international match. Don't know why Pakistan waste talents and not give chance to young blood ?

There was a first unofficial test match between these two teams which are mentioned above. Bangladesh played the first turn and they made only 122 runs. And if we look at the batsmen of the team so there is only one player who made 65 runs and his name is Mahmudul Hasan Joy. Otherwise there is everyone is looking below 15 runs. Means there performance was nill. And Pakistan A just started their turn and they will continue their first inning today on the second day of the match. And this time they made only 2 runs in 2 overs without any loss. I hope Pakistan A team will give a good lead to Bangladesh A team.

Bangladesh A played their 1 st Inning, In 1 st day of this game, Bangladesh A were dismissed all wickets and made only 122 runs. Opening effort of Bangladesh A team was playing great and Joy made 65 runs in 116 balls and hitted nine 4s. But other Batsman was lost their wickets for only low runs like 0, 5, 11 and 14 runs. Their start of this game was very poor and Now Pakistan A team Batsman came for playing their 1 st Inning and Pakistan A have a good chance to win this game by big margin.

It is the same old story for Bangladesh A tour of Pakistan. Bangladesh got test status 25 years ago. Even now they perform well below some of the top associate nations. And worse still, their best players such as Shakib al Hasan and Mahmudullah are nearing retirement. Younger players such as Liton Das and Tanzid Hasan are not in the best form right now. The future doesn't look very bright for them. During the unofficial test match, none of the batsmen apart from Mahmudul Hasan Joy could manage a score of more than 15. And other than Naseem Shah there were no experienced bowlers on the other side.
