Pakistan in terrible position in second test. South African batsmen scored runs freely while the Pakistani bowlers were helplessly watching them scoring runs. Seems like South Africa will win this test too and march towards WTC final by doing a whitewash in this test series. The only hope left for Pakistan is Babar and Rizwan, if they both can score runs then Pakistan might avoid follow-on and draw the test. Keeping in view the present form of Babar Azam, it seems difficult that he will score some runs at this critical time.

However, Shan Masood who is the captain did not score too and right now Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are batting and this is the crucial partnership from Pakistan team point of view.

I don't think this pitch in Cape Town is bowling friendly. South Africa batted well on this pitch. Ryan Rickelton played a memorable innings of 259 runs. Temba Bavuma and Kyle Verreynne both scored centuries. As a result, South Africa managed to score a huge 615 runs. But looking at Pakistan's batting, it doesn't look like they will be able to score even 300 runs.

Now, on WTC finalists Australia vs SA, I'll be cheering for South Africa, Aussies are so good, it's good to see them defeated.

I had high expectations from India in this series against Australia. But India played very badly in this series. India won the first match of the series by a huge margin of 295 runs. But we saw poor performance from India in every match after that. The third match was delayed due to rain. So it was good that we were able to draw the match. Otherwise, India would have lost this match too. Australia and South Africa will face each other in the WTC final. South Africa is also a very strong team. I am looking forward to seeing a competitive match.

Yes. I agree with you. If Pakistan collects 400+ runs then it will be the biggest achievement for Pakistan. On the other hand, On day 3 Afganistan couldn't perform well from the beginning but a few times later Rahamat Shah earned 139 runs from 275 balls and Afganistan collected 291/7. And the total lead for Afganistan is 205 runs. I hope Afghanistan left the innings from 250+ runs.

Pakistan lost the first three wickets very quickly. And these three are the most experienced and important players in the Pakistan squad. But Pakistan team does not get a better performance from them.

But India fared worse in their second innings than the first innings, getting bowled out for 157 runs. I don't think Pakistan will avoid follow on because they already lost 6 wickets at 161 runs. All players goen out and bow tail ender come to carees and it's very difficult now for Pakistan to score 260 which is required to avoid follow on in first inning of this test match. Pakistan batting line collapsed except Babar Azam who scored a well deserved half century and out after scoring 58 runs, while Muhammad Rizwan missed his half century by 4 run short. The follow on couldn't be avoided by the Pakistan team and they were all out at 194 runs. Only Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan showed some resistance but as soon as they were out, the Pakistan team lost all the wickets quickly.

South Africa did not hesitate to enforce the follow-on and that was the perfect decision by them. There was no point for them to bat again when the lead was over 400 runs. However, Pakistan started the 2nd innings in a good way. I wasn't expecting that. Both Shan Masood and Babar Azam  have put on 80 runs and Pakistan hasn't lost a wicket. Strange !!!
