And this is also one of the reasons why I am alarmed at ICC's recent proposal to expand WTC to 12 teams. The current 9-team setup is not working well. So why they want to expand?

This match is being played between India and England, in which the England team is first setting its target, in which they have so far scored 127 runs, while there are still more overs to go, and this can be possible when they can keep their wickets even stronger. The highest score from their team so far has been made by P. Salt, who has completed his half-century and is not out. Along with this, other players are also busy setting their target. If they remain strong like this, the target can go up to 200 or maybe even go above it, which can be difficult for India to achieve. By the way, India is a strong team, so it is not difficult for them to score that much, and when the Indian team starts playing, the England team should keep its bowling as good as its batting. Entire day without a single wicket and the ICC wonder why the test format is dying. For me, it seems like WICB doesn't have the capability to host test matches. You need to prepare competitive surfaces that provide enough support for both the batsmen and the bowlers. And even after all this, West Indies lost the series by a margin of 0-1. Availability of players is another reason. West Indies have very few players who are suitable for the test format, and most of the time they remain unavailable. That said, for Sri Lanka there were quite a few encouraging signals from this series.
