I am not sure whether anyone is following this - Ranji Trophy (domestic 4-day competition) is ongoing in India. The player who caught my attention is 20-year old Pheiroijam Jotin Singh, who just made 166 against Arunachal Pradesh. Without a doubt, he has been the best performer in Plate League of Ranji Trophy for many years now. But since he represents Manipur, there is near zero chance of him getting selected for the national squad.

Who cares about Ranji Trophy SAAAAAAR  Even the BCCI does not. They hardly look out for talent from Ranji now. They are more focused on IPL discoveries. Yeah, it was indeed a brave decision by the team selectors of Australia. It is clear that the team selectors wanted to have a perfect spin bowler by predicting how the pitch could behave. Nathan Lyon has taken two important wickets in the first innings, but Mitchell Starc has played the key role in destroying South African batting line-up. SA had made a great start today, I was thinking that they would score above 500 runs in the first innings.

Well Boland drop from lineup was looking a huge gamble and looked quite risky on paper, but it work fine as Lyon were the one who actually triggered proteas collapse as they were truly cruising even after having 150+ with no loss and were looking to set a Gigantic target, but Mitchell starc completely changed the match script with his brutal spell of 6/72 at crucial situation when his team were really looking clueless. Now south African officially got folded at 329 and I don't think they are still fine favorite until Aussies top order once again failed to showed his true potential.

If they succeed in winning this Test match, they will move up to the second position in the points table

The series is leveled and both teams will try their best to win this game. Aussies have started there second innings and their openers are also going good, Australia score is 57 without loss of any wicket. 329 is still a decent first innings total but the way SA started their first innings they should have scored 400 or more runs. Because of Bangladesh's poor performance, we as supporters don't really want to enjoy Bangladesh's game. I won't say that Bangladesh performs very well in all three formats, ODI, Test and T20. In today's Test match, Bangladesh lost three wickets for 110 runs at the beginning. Since then, Sadman Islam and Towhid Hridoy have tried a lot to make the team score well. In the 3 rd test between south africa and Australia the session 2 of day 2 Australia is chasing in their first innings. Yes South africa 329 target is good but Australia is also looking in good form as their players are playing very well. The top 4 of Australia is gone but their openers renshaw made 74 and travis head made 41 runs while C green made 65 runs and now j. Inglis and A carey is on the crease and Australia is trail by 114 runs. From south african side simon harmer and marco jansen both have taken two wickets. Both teams have performed well and won one one match and this match will decide the winner of the series and i think that south africa will win this match because their all team is very strong but lets see what happens.
