Pakistan seems to be in trouble and so far Afghanistan has got an excellent start. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman are back in the pavilion, with Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman taking one wicket each. And I don't understand the decision from Pakistan captain. They should have gone with bowling first. Because Afghan batting is in very poor state, while their bowling is still pretty decent. Pakistan made a mistake by going for batting first and as a result they are in big trouble. Now let's see whether Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan will be able to make a difference.

If we look out some previous matches then Pakistan most runs was scored by top order batsmen but in this match condition is totally different. All top scorers especially Rizwan and Babar goes to pavilion earlier and now the real test for middle order batsmens. Imam ul haq is playing so positively so far while Salman agha is facing little bit trouble. Still long batting line up is available for Pakistan. Iftikhar and shadab can contribute to score and also ability to play aggressive in last ten overs.

Afghanistan will be looking to restrict Pakistan team under 200 and they can do it because their bowling is so strong while Pakistan will be looking to score 250+. Pakistan bowling is very strong and even if batsmen failed to give good target, it will ne not easy for Afghanistan to score easily.

@Sithara007 this seems like a good wake up call for Pakistan because the Asia Cup and the World Cup is coming and they can’t afford to display such performances in those tournaments. Also I wonder if the Pakistani selectors will take drastic steps and drop some player’s over such poor performance or will they continue to back these player’s in the hope that they’ll improve what do you think?

In this case we must appreciate the Afghanistan bowlers for keeping a strong team like Pakistan under pressure. Afghanistan's spinner bowlers in particular were able to put a lot of pressure on Pakistan's batting line-up today. Pakistan lost six wickets out of which 5 wickets were taken by spinners, Mujibur Rahman 2, Mohammad Nabi 2 and Rashid Khan 1. The remaining one wicket was collected by fast bowler Fazal Haque Farooqui. However, Pakistan's match today will be full of competition, if Pakistan's batsmen can give a target of 250 runs, then it will not be possible to say for sure which team will win today's match.

Pakistan looks pathetic. They are 170/8 after 41 overs. The decision to bat first is turning out to be such a strategic blunder. Shadab Khan is at the crease along with tail-ender Naseem Shah. Afghan spinners are just breaking the backbone of Pakistan batting. Rashid Khan and Muhammad Nabi pick 2,2 wickets Mujeeb also pick Babar Azam wicket very strong bowling performance by Afghanistan spinners. I think Pakistan will come back strong and take early wickets because Pakistan has world class bowling line.

While Pakistan scored 201 runs, Afghanistan could not even get half a run out of batting instead they lost all their wickets without playing 20 overs and lost by a huge margin of 142 runs. But today Pakistan bowled brilliantly due to which Afghanistan lost miserably which was really sad for Afghanistan. However, they must improve their batting and bowling in the next matches, otherwise they will perform worse in the upcoming Asia Cup tournament. Pakistan batsman Haris Rauf's brilliant bowling in today's match may have helped Pakistan get such a big win against Afghanistan which was really commendable.
