India U19 bowlers lacked dominance due to which Pakistan U19 won the match losing only 2 wickets. For India it is not only the bowlers who are responsible, but also the batsmen who are expected to perform better. India U19's opening batsman and total only 4 batsmen in the team could have added runs, if there were more contributors they could do better. But in this perspective the Pakistan U19 team definitely deserves credit, they played brilliantly. They performed well in both bowling and batting aspects and won by a big margin. Pakistan's Azan Awais is the only one from both teams to score a century in this match. I think his performance will surely come to the attention of the cricket board.

Historically, Pakistan has performed quite well at the U-19 level. And a big reason for this is the presence of large number of teenagers in the first class system of Pakistan. If you check county cricket in England or the Sheffield Shield of Australia, you will not find many teenage players. But that is not the case in Pakistan, as they have a good cricket structure at the colleges and schools. Players progress from schools and colleges to first-class teams, unlike the case in England and Australia where the players for first class teams are mostly sourced from feeder clubs.

Based on that innings in the final match of the World Cup, Travis Head became the man of the month. When India were bowled out for 240 runs on that very pitch, Australia fell into disarray early on. In the face of that disaster, Australia was able to win the glory of becoming champions for the sixth time by defeating India in that match based on Travis Head's innings of 137 runs. Maybe that's why Travis Head has been Man of the Month in ODI format in cricket.

I agree with you. It is good news that countries like Japan are playing cricket. Also in the squads of teams like USA and UAE I have seen most of the players are foreigners. They don't have many nativ players. But the Japan U19 team I have seen most of the players are nativ from Japan. They need time to improve in cricket. Bangladesh has been associated with cricket for a long time. And cricket is very popular in their country. Cricket is still not popular in Japan. I think many people in Japan are still not aware of cricket. This team needs a long time to do well. In future maybe Japan team will play against teams like Nepal, Bhutan and Malaysia. If Japan hosts a series against these teams, the matches are likely to be competitive.

I don't think this is unfair because Travis Head deserve this award as he was really impressive in his last two and crucial games of the world cup and both times he has done good job which help his team for winning this world cup again after 8 years and sixth time which is now record in ODI history.

There is no doubt about impressive performance from Glenn Maxwell and Mohammad Shami but as we are already had this for the Travis Head we have to appreciate his performance and work for his team in this big event where things were not ideal for the many other world-class players, and they were badly down and out of the game which hurt their teams as well and few were good in early matches but sadly fail to give their best in last important games as well.
