2nd ODI Ireland tour of Zimbabwe 2023. With the first match abandoned due to rain, Zimbabwe's series win over Ireland has become more difficult. Today we see that in the second ODI Zimbabwe have already collected 55 runs in 15.1 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. But looking at the performance of Zimbabwe in this match today I can say that today Zimbabwe can easily lose to Ireland as Ireland have already picked up 4 important wickets of Zimbabwe. Having lost four important wickets, Zimbabwe are now under a lot of pressure and after this pressure, Zimbabwe may not be able to score very well. I will definitely predict Ireland to win today's game.

Today it’s day of Ireland and not the Zimbabwean had the luck today.Because the Zimbabwe had hard to complete the 200 runs in this ODI.Since it was the one day match the Zimbabwe performance was not upto expected.The team like Bangladesh making the 250-300 in the World Cup.Since it’s just an ODI series,the Zimbabwe should need to increase the batting.None of the batsman had the capacity to score the fifty runs in the batting,the Zimbabwe coach should teach them for the batting compared to the bowling and they had taken 6 wickets to stop till the 40th over.Joshua little had ruled today game with the 6 wickets in his ten overs and gave just 36 runs in his complete over.So his average is just 3.6 runs per over to tackle the Zimbabwe batting.

 Poor performance from both sides but all latest matches prove that Ireland is getting stronger and Zimbabwe are going down every day. No one in the whole team scored fantastic inining which could be admired. It's a pity for 10 players to score only so many runs in the whole match.

 The bowling was very good but what I liked was Joshua Little's bowling because he took six wickets. He made it very easy for his team to win the match because he send more than half team back to pavilion.

 Ireland's batting was also not very good but better than the Zimbabwean team. I only liked Curtis Campher batting in the whole team as he scored 66 runs by hitting 10 fours.

The Irish were a bit wobbly towards the end, but they won the match without much effort. The good news is that their crucial players are back in form. Josh Little was in pathetic form for the last 12 months or so, but today he delivered figures of 10-2-36-6. Craig Young is also bowling quite well. Curtis Campher, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker have been among the runs in this series, but the form of the openers is still a big worry. Anyway, after this series they don't have any international tours planned for the next 3 months or so.

It was huge upset at the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup. In India's case they were not in good form anyway, as they had lost a group phase match against Pakistan earlier. But wins against Afghanistan and Nepal enabled them to qualify for the final. But then, Pakistan (who had defeated India) went down against United Arab Emirates. And the irony is that most of the UAE players are Pakistani citizens. No one would have imagined that UAE and Bangladesh would be the two teams playing the final match.

The unfortunate thing happened in the both Semi-Final because we are all think that the final was played in between Pakistan and India because Pakistan had a match with UAE, and the UAE team is very small and didn't have any good record in the past, but we had an upset.

Big big upset happening at the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup. Pakistan struggling against United Arab Emirates, after the latter set them a target of 194 runs. Pakistan are 173-8 and they need 21 runs from 11 balls with just 2 wickets remaining. Last 5 overs have seen just 12 runs being scored and one wicket fell during this period. Mohammad Zeeshan is at the crease along with Ali Asfand and they are struggling against the combination of Omid Rehman and Ayman Ahamed. If they can stay cool under pressure, then UAE can pull this off.

I also feel sad for Pakistan U19 squad in First Semi Final match, they played quite great in previous matches of Asian Council Cricket competition and they lost this semi final match against UAE U19 squad due to few scores and only 11 scores remained for defend and thue did not secure their defending target. UAE U19 squad made not a good scores defending target and they played 47.5 overs in semi final and they collected only 193 scores. This defending target in ODI competition matches seem very low quality and every weaker squad easily beat this target. But Pakistan U19 squad was unable to defeat to this target and all squad batters got out when they made 182 scores and lost this match by 11 scores.

After seeing Zimbabwe's batting performance in today's match, I predicted that Ireland will win the match by defeating Zimbabwe very easily. The second match was challenging for both teams as the first match was abandoned due to rain. Ireland won the second match and the series win was almost in their hands now if the third ODI match is won by Ireland, the series win will be assured for Ireland. Congratulations Bangladesh! Yeah, undoubtedly it’s a big achievement for Bangladesh team to win against big team India although it’s U-19, but India is a big team. They could not make any big partnership losing wickets very quickly, to make 50 runs they lost 5 wickets if i'm not wrong, No batsman could stay on the field for the long time. Bangladesh team performed well in ACC U19 Asia Cup, 2023. They beat India U19 in Bangladesh to reach the final. In today's match India batted and set a target of just 188 runs which was not difficult for Bangladesh but if Ariful Islam and If Ahrar Amin could not have scored well then there would have been no chance of winning this match. Ariful Islam scored 94 runs and Ahrar Amin scored 44 runs. The rest did not score so well. Everyone need not to play well in cricket. If two people in the team perform well, the team's chances of winning increase. Bangladesh team won the match by 4 wickets.

I thought the Indian team will be the champion in this year's U19 Asia Cup. Because this team has a lot of talented players. The squad is also quite strong. But I was very disappointed with India's performance against Bangladesh U19 team. Indian batsmen batted very badly against Bangladeshi bowlers. India team gave a target of only 189 runs. It is impossible to win by giving so few targets. Even so, the players of the India U19 team struggled. And they were able to take 6 wickets of Bangladesh. Indian team lost badly. Bangladesh U19 team will play against UAE in the final. UAE is not a strong team. Bangladesh is the most likely to be the champion.

The last match result was Announced as no result because of the heavy rain. Now, this match is almost done but rain is here again. But, Ireland is ahead if we talk about the DRS score. Curtis Campher is one run away from his half-century. Let's see if the plays continue or maybe we are going to see another DLS method result.

Zimbabwe should improve their top order batting. They haven't been good for a while now. They are unpreictable like Bangladesh. LOL. Sometimes I consider them as better team than Bangladesh team. Hahahaha.

As far as DLS is concerned, Ireland is ahead by 27 runs. If the play doesn't resume, then Ireland will win the match and take a 1-0 lead in this series. BTW, great to see Josh Little tacking his first 6-wicket haul, and getting good support from Craig Young. His IPL franchise is going to be really happy. Andy McBrine also made a decent return to the national squad, with a spell of 10-1-34-1. Curtis Campher seems to have suffered some sort of injury, and this will be a concern for the Irish selectors. Also, the openers (Andy Balbirnie and Paul Stirling) failed yet again today.

Another poor display of batting by Zimbabwe, and now they are down in ODI series after losing twenty/20 and having first ODI match abandoned due to rain after winning toss Zimbabwe choose to bat, and their batsmen goes down like crap we have some resistance from the Burl, Madande and Masakadza just because of this Zimbabwe able to reach at this target other all batsmen out on single digit which is surely problem for them and in reply we have good batting from the Irish batsmen which play responsibly and able to reach at this target after lost of 6 wickets even they also lost early wickets, but their middle order is much better and experienced which help their team for this win and leading the series.

I don't understand why Zimbabwe performed so badly at the Zimbabwean venue where a team like Ireland won the T20I series and yet again managed to beat Zimbabwe miserably in the ODI match. Sikandar Raja is not able to perform himself well and also in bowling Zimbabwe is doing worse compared to Ireland. They were able to take this innings to 166 runs yesterday when Zimbabwe fell by four wickets for just 21 runs. But Ireland's innings target of 166 runs was not difficult to win. So I want to make one comment, unless there is some change in the Zimbabwean squad, it is not possible to get anything good in Zimbabwean cricket.

Today these two teams will playe their first ODI match in East London. Almost both teams have equal performance so we can't say anything at this time that who will win today match.
