Mostly the player of the match chose from the winner team but today we saw that the player of the match is Soumya Sarkar. He played really well. He needs the Bangladeshi player with him on pitch but no one of them who make partnership with him.

To be honest, I criticized BCB for taking Soumya Sarkar in the squad. He did not perform anywhere and did nothing which could be a reason for his inclusions. He failed in the first match and he took the 2nd opportunity to prove himself. Nice to see he got himself back but the problem is, that Bangladeshi batters are unable to continue their performance. I know that Soumya sarkar is now confirmed for the next ten ODI matches by soring 169 runs. I won't be surprised if I see he is not able to score 30+ runs in the next ten matches. Bangladesh Playing with a very young team and I wasn't expecting win from them. But, the overall performance wasn't good at all except for Soumya.

op I agree with you. Because they have not been able to get out of the batting failure that Bangladesh has been suffering from since the 2023 World Cup. Bangladesh had a fairly good run in the second ODI against New Zealand. Soumya Sarkar came into the field after five long years and scored a brilliant century. But Soumya Sarkar's 169 could not give victory to Bangladesh. But as the reason why Bangladesh lost in today's match, I will see that the batting was fair. But Bangladesh could not bowl well due to which Bangladesh team lost today.

I would say that you have caught the main problem of the Bangladesh team.There is no question that Bangladesh team cannot play well against any country on foreign soil especially if that pitch is pace bowling friendly.
The few series that Bangladesh have won against big teams have been on Bangladeshi soil and on spin friendly pitches.Playing on spin friendly pitch Bangladeshi players are deteriorating their batting day by day even they can not play pace bowling well.
If Bangladeshi cricket wants to improve, then they have to constantly gain experience playing on pace-friendly pitches.

Bangladesh needed to have an experienced pace bowler in the squad on such a pitch. Shariful or Hasan are talented but not experienced enough. If Taskin was in the squad, maybe we would have seen the bowling of Bangladesh a little better. The target was not big. And so New Zealand's batsmen batted in a pressure free manner.
