Nepal bowlers did superb job despite poor performance from there batting lineup. The result of the game will be different if Nepal has scored 200 runs batting first. Despite such a low target from Nepal there bowlers did there best to win the game and took 8 wickets of Namibia. Kushal Bhurtel took 3 wickets from Nepal side while Bernard Scholtz and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton got 4 wickets each from Namibia side.

Nepal team bowlers tried well but their batting team did not bat well due to which Nepal lost this match by two wickets to Namibia. Namibia have won two out of three matches so far, both of which were against Nepal. Namibia lost only one match and that was against the Netherlands. I know that many teams have won in ODI cricket even with 150 plus runs, but to win with 150 plus runs, the bowling has to play a major role. Nepal team bowled somewhat well in that match but they could not give their full bowling performance for which they eventually lost by 2 wickets.

The Namibia batsmen also did not put in any effort and struggle and could not give such a big target.  This is because their bowlers and their luck have support them. They should have set a target of 230 in the 40 over innings.  And they achieved great success and defeat the opposing team. Nepal batsmen lack quickness and pace. They had given the batsmen a good chance to win. But they miss that chance too and will lose the match.Nepal team should improve their performance and work hard and struggle. My congratulations to the Namibia team for the win and may they continue to play like this and win matches.

When Namibia and Nepal play against each other, the match is very tight as both teams are almost equally strong.  And in yesterday's match these two teams played very well.  Their run rate was almost equal but Nepal lost wickets quickly and had to close the match.  None of these two teams are any kind of potential team in the game of cricket, like Australia, south Africa etc. So they played well yesterday but if they play against any good team then they lose very badly.

AFAIK both Nepal and Namibia were not able to play ODI world cup but good thing is both are playing T20 world cup this year. Namibia is more experienced team as compared to Nepal. In this tournament both teams have played 2 games against each other and Nepal lost not because of there bowling but because of there batting. You can't blame your bowlers when you bat first and score 132 or 168 runs. If you see bowling of Nepal then they did good job in both matches by picking 6 and 8 wickets.

So much focus on the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2, and everyone is ignoring ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League Play-off. We had three matches completed so far, with Italy winning against Bermuda in the first match. Marcus Campopiano (a recent addition to the Italian squad) top-scored for Italy, and scored 101, while Anthony Mosca scored 95. Nicholas Maiolo and Wayne Madsen also made decent contributions. And while bowling, Stefano di Bartolomeo dealt the initial blows, and remainder was cleaned up by Rakibul Hasan and Fida Hussain.

AFAIK both Nepal and Namibia were not able to play ODI world cup but good thing is both are playing T20 world cup this year. Namibia is more experienced team as compared to Nepal. Yes you are absolutely right, even though Namibia is a more experienced team than Nepal, still gone Nepal's bowling line was very strong as noticed in both the matches. Nepal team is quite good in the bowling line but the batting line is very disappointing for them. According to me if Nepal team can solve their batting problem then Nepal team can easily compete with experienced strong team. I think now Nepal team need hard practice in batting line. If Nepal team develops their batting line through proper practice, Nepal team can slowly become a popular team. But I am hopeful that in the future Nepal team will be able to solve all the problems of their batting site.

Yes, in the beginning of the game, the batsmen of the Italian team performed poorly in batting, but later on, the batsmen of the Italian team managed to dominate themselves throughout the game. The Italian batsmen's "start" of the batting looked like they would be forced to end the batting with a very small score. But with the great performances of the Italian team batsmen Wayne Madsen, Garnt Stewart, and Rakibul Hasan, the Italian team managed to score a reliable score to win. Wayne Madsen's brilliant century in this match is highly commendable. Wayne Madsen scored 103 runs off 92 balls. The Italian team actually deserved to win this match.  Congratulations to the players of the Italian team for winning this match.

Finally, we saw a score of over 200 in the ICC WCL2. Namibia won the match by 24 runs. Namibia scored 203 thanks to their lower-order batsmen. They were 77/5 at one stage of their innings, but the 6th wicket partnership of over 70 runs brought them back into the game. In response, the Netherland's batters were not able to chase this target. Jan Frylinck got the Player of the Match award for this beautiful all-round performance; he made 34 and took 3 wickets. This target was way too much for any team in the competition when we look at their past batting performances.

Italy managed another win today at the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League Play-off. During the first match (vs Bermuda), it was the turn of Marcus Campopiano to hit a century for Italy and today it was the 40-year old Wayne Madsen who hit the century. There were sizable contributions from Grant Stewart and Rakibul Hasan as well, as Italy put up 284/7. And in return, fast bowler Stefano di Bartolomeo nabbed three top-order wickets, and that effectively ended the Saudi Arabian resistance. Further blows from Gareth Berg and Jaspreet Singh effectively ended the match in favor of Italy.

Anyway I was expecting Netherlands to win this important match as we have seen they does many time in past but unfortunately today results were not divert in thier favour. I think credit for this victory goes to Netherlands quality bowler who put such quality batter in trouble and didn't allow them to even chased down such small target and thus won this important match

And it's the first time in this tournament the first batting team had won a match. Though 4 of the Namibian batsmen were out on 1 or lower, a good number of them showed resistance on the pitch which is now infamous for difficulty to bat. Yet, they were not able to play the full 50 overs.
Netherlands too had a good chase, if just the opposite batsmen of Noah Croes were on crease a bit longer, He alone could have led Netherlands to win but 5 of the partners of Noah Croes were out before him. Even though Erasmus, the Namibian captain didn't have a good innings with bat, he was spectacular with bowl. And with this win Namibia has established themselves as a better team among the three.

Out of the three teams, Namibia is looking like the strongest one. They have won 3 out of the 4 matches so far. On the other hand, Nepal and Netherlands have won only one match each. The Dutch are looking like the weakest team in the competition, and it is quite surprising considering the fact that the Dutch performed really well during the 2023 ODI World Cup, winning matches against South Africa and Bangladesh. Perhaps the dependence on overseas players is a big disadvantage for Netherlands. On the other hand, Nepal and Namibia squads are 100% native.

Noah Croes has been responsible batting for Netherlands. Noah Croes is unbeaten with 46 runs from 56 balls with great batting. If any other batsman of today's Netherlands Noah Croes could have played in partnership with this player then maybe they would have won. 5th match of ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 competition, Netherlands squad against Namibia squad match was finished now and Namibia squad has started this match firstly batting inning by calling of Netherlands squad. Namibia squad has proven in this competition that they are good sqaud and they also  have defeated many strong squads previously like Nepal. In this match, Namibia squad was collected 203 scores but they lost all batter wickets and did not completed all overs. Defeating target of Namibia sqaud was too big and just a normal target but their bowling inning performance was impressive and their bowler beated all batter of Netherlands squad and wiped out at 179 scores. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton collected 49 scores and only one behind for mid century but failed. Each member of Namibia squad Jan Frylinck and Gerhard Erasmus bowlers picked three batter wickets for Netherlands squad and emerged victory by 24 scores.

Right now Italy and Bahrain are topping Group A and Group B respectively and both these teams have one match remaining at the group phase. Top 3 teams from each group will proceed to Super6, and top 4 from this grouping will qualify for the 2023–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League. Out of the 12 teams in this competition, two will qualify for the Qualifier Play-off. The system is a bit complicated and stretches for many years.
