The Indian team gave too poor performance and they were losing wickets back to back. By the way, at the start of the series, there was no one who was even able to say India could lose it because they have amazing history in 2024 World Cup and in the other matches, as they won the World Cup while on the other side their opponent Sri Lanka even out from the super 8s. They can’t even reach to the group stages in the World Cup but now the greatest come back ever is here by the team of Sri Lanka. Today I am sure, that every single person who bet on the Indian team from the last two matches is been very disappointed right now.

The top order of the Sri-Lankan team is very strong and today it was too useful but at the start of the match, as you know, it is ODI then up and downs are here. However, in today’s match, the Sri-Lankan team had a great start but later they faced some problems in the middle order but already their openers made a reasonable score and gave them a good lead. The first wicket fell at 89 when Pathum Nissanka
was dismissed and the 2nd wicket fell at 171 when Avishka Fernando lost his wicket. But this is a super performance by these two openers.

Also they were confident to beat India then it was not too big a problem. I can see the commitment in the Sri-Lanka team right from the beginning of this final match. At the end of the day, the Sri-Lankan team and its best is here, this series is such a big series for the Sri-Lanka.

Anyway in previous match Rohit scored highest score of the team and today done same but due to unconsistent support form partner they failed to scored big and after a long time lose an entire series against SiriLankan team. Hope they will recover otherwise things will be really hard for them in CT2025.

Losing to Sri Lanka is simply not acceptable. Had they lost to teams such as Australia or England, or for that matter South Africa or New Zealand, we could have still found some excuse. But how can anyone justify the Indian team losing to Sri Lanka? And this was a full strength squad, which comprised of legends such as Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav and Rohit Sharma. BTW, feels good for Parag. He was the only player who showed consistency in this tour. This guy deserves a lot of praise.

In the third match, we saw progress in the Sri Lanka team but with hard luck, the match went through the Super over and once again it was won by the Indian team. However, the Sri Lankan team started to gain momentum and we saw this momentum in the ODI series and finally, they won the ODI series.

Amazing comeback for Sri Lankan team in ODI series. Draw in first match of ODI I series. The team won by 32 runs in the second match and 110 runs in the third match which is really great. I would never see India losing by such a big score. I did not expect such a big disaster in India team. If India could have won a match it would have been acceptable. Even though the Indian team came out with full strength, they lost this series which is hard to think. The bowlers of the Sri Lankan team were so dominant that the Indian batsmen could not stand. Bowlers giving their best bowling performance day by day is definitely a good aspect of the Sri Lankan cricket.

The batsmen of the Sri Lankan team have performed amazingly, in terms of distribution of the results, the Indian team has won the T20 in three matches. However, in one match, Sachch has drawn in the first ODI match and the Sri Lankan team has won by a wide margin in the remaining two matches. 

Very good performance Sri Lankan team has performed very well in today's match in terms of batting and bowling. I got a notification in my local language by our local channel and they say SriLankan team won  ODI series after 27 years.
Well the match was very interesting what a great performance by SriLankan team. SriLanka was the first who took batting and they made 248 runs. Where Avishka Fernando played well and he was just near to his century but unfortunately he got out at 96 runs. After him there are two more players who played a little well first is Kusal Mendis who made 59 runs and second is Pathum Nissanka who made 45 runs. And from Indian team Riyan Parag was well who collected 3 wickets.
Well India started their turn but they were looking bad in batting. Dunith Wellalage was really good from SriLankan team who destroyed 5 players of Indian team and Jeffrey Vandersay and Maheesh Theekshana collected 2,2 wickets. By the way I appreciate the performance of Srilanka team. They just did a great job. The target was almost same like the last matches like in the first match Srilanka made 230 runs then they made 240 runs and in the third match they made 248 runs. But India performed really bad. In the first match they just tied the match and in the second match they made 208 runs but in the third match they only made 138 runs. Which the fans were not expecting. Congratulations to Srilanka on their massive win.

No one expected such a performance in the ODI match of the Indian team in this poor performance they lost the ODI series. But the Sri Lankan team performed well enough and I attribute a lot to their game, they played the best game. Sri Lanka won the ODI series after almost a tenth in the ODI match against India, it is the most joyous thing for them. The team that India beat so easily in the World Cup is the same team that beat India badly in the ODI. Of course, we have seen that the Indian team performed very well in the T20 matches as well, but when it came to the ODI series, no one in India imagined that they would lose badly. The T20 series went completely in favor of India, but the completed ODI series went in favor of Sri Lanka. ODI series India performed as if they forgot to play ODIs. There will definitely be a lot of criticism about the last match as in the third ODI we saw India get all out after batting till 26 overs. Even if Sri Lanka took home advantage in the ODI series, India should not have lost against Sri Lanka like this because India is a World Cup winning team and should have won at least one match. Consistency in bowling? He didn't do anything with bat. Honestly IMO, he did took wickets but I did not find anything extra-ordionary in his bowling, spin friendly pitches also played it's role.

If spin friendly pitches helped Parag with this bowling, then why wasn't the same applicable for Washington Sundar, Axar Patel or Kuldeep Yadav? And also, Parag took crucial wickets. He nabbed Avishka Fernando, Charith Asalanka and Dunith Wellalage during the last match. With bat, his performance was not that good, but we need to remember that he batted down the order. At no.7, he may not be getting enough time to get settled in. For Rajasthan Royals, he normally bats much higher up.

Sri Lanka really deserved to win the series and game. There is no seriousness seen among Indian batters. They are almost the best players in the world, but unable to chase down these small scores with so much low run rate. I agree that the pitch was very spinner friendly, and under the lights, the balls even turned more, but still, you are one of the best batsmen in the world; you should be aware of the conditions and bat accordingly. Other than Rohit Sharma, no Indian batter has done anything in this series. As soon as Rohit gets out, within 1 hour the whole team returns to the pavilion. The management really needs to think about this.

It was applicable to all spinners, look at previous 2 games the names you mentioned took wickets, Kuldeep could be having 2 wickets yesterday too had Pant wasn't slow with Theekshana's stumping.

With bat, his performance was not that good, but we need to remember that he batted down the order. At no.7, he may not be getting enough time to get settled in. For Rajasthan Royals, he normally bats much higher up.

He had all time to get settled yesterday though, albeit it was pressure situation.

I don't feel like you. Bhumrah is the most talented and experienced bowler in the Indian team. However, it is not true that the Indian team is completely dependent on Bhumrah, the main reason for India's defeat in this series is the poor performance of their batsmen. Indian batsmen have not batted well in any of the three ODI matches. We have seen bad batting in every match. Apart from Rohit Sharma, no other batsman was in good form. Even in the last match, India lost by a huge margin of 110 runs.

Also I would say Sri Lanka were very lucky in this series. In each match they batted first and Descent provided a target. Indian bowlers had some weaknesses. But I don't think India lost because of the performance of the bowlers. Sri Lanka could not collect 250 runs in any match. It was not a big target for a big team like India. However, Indian batsmen have batted badly in every match. The batting of Gill, Iyer and Dube in particular was very poor. The collection of these three batsmen in three matches is given below respectively...
