It will not be a fail it will be fair! Why should all the whales have the coins. Jump straight into a pool there's 350 blocks of reduced rewards.
Also what I like about greececoin it is clearly stated that the vision of this coin is to be used by everyone around the world even though it's aimed at Greece, plus there's a chance for companies to claim. If all the coins are not claimed then there is a roll over of new air drops so it's a continual process, looking forward to this very much.

Why is it a fail? Do you really want whales to gain mass amount of coins in the first 20minutes of launch? Which will cause price manipulation.. 350blocks reduced rewards is good, it gives people time to download the wallet setup, pool owners to also setup and then everyone can begin mining. 300 or so blocks will not take long to mine.. minutes. Stop moaning, if you dont like it dont mine it. Simple as that. @Dev goodluck with launch!

ppl are so negative now in days, all the do is complain about every alt coin when this shit is free, i bet if the government makes mining cryptos or any virtual coin illegal or tax people for mining then most of them would shut up and suck it up!!! .

How low is the initial block rewarD?
350 Blocks will be reduced rewards, 64 blocks have been mined for checkpoints and block maturity (the block maturity was initially 60).. during this process, the rewards were reduced to minimum payout. The reward will be (1) Greececoin per block until it reaches 351 blocks and then it will go back to its original standing of 32 coins per block. This process will stop whales from swarming all of the coins within the first 20minutes or less depending on the net hash rate, this will also provide efficient time for pool operators and miners to setup and not miss out. Solo mining will still be profitable, it will take minutes to fly past 350 blocks & then you can be rewarded with the original reward of 32. Not long until launch, the amount of interest this coin has gotten within the last 24hours is insane! Great support, keep it up people!

350 blocks with no reward + KGW at launch means that when the coin will be worth mining the difficulty will be FAR too high for it to be worth mining by anyone but the biggest farms. It completely kills any reason for someone to get on the coin at launch. Early adopters are screwed.

considering 64 blocks have been mined for checkpoints and block maturity its actually 286-blocks. 1 Greececoin is still profitable for early adapters/solo miners.. Just think about a later date when 1 coin is worth $10+.. it's profitable and worth it. 286-Blocks will literally take minutes to break, this coin will be huge at launch and miners wont even feel the reduced rewards. I'll be mining solo and im happy with being rewarded 1 Greececoin, it also gives hype to those who are waiting for the rewards to go to its original demand of 32. Stop whining and get on with it, many coin launches has this implemented and it dont effect it.. it only effects those whales who mine it for the first 10minutes and then dump their profits instantly.. which creates price manipulation which is not needed for any coin.

Which in a way this benefits the small miners so they can get a chance to wait for an active pool to come online so they can mine there and be rewarded by those with higher Hashrate than themselfs.

The dev has already stated, aswell as my self. Solo mining will still be profitable, it will take minutes to fly past 350 blocks & then you can be rewarded with the original reward of 32.

NOBODY will mine and hold. We've got burned FAR TOO MUCH in the latest months to not dump asap. 2. Have you seen Pawncoin? Have you seen ANY of the coin launches in the last months that used the zeroreward x blocks + kgw at launch? Have you seen them having 10GH/s and 200 difficulty before the good reward blocks even hit? How the hell are the small miners going to even get 0.001btc/mh/d in that situation?

As long as you make sure the password is incredibly secure. I've seen some pretty dreadful pre-release wallet launches where the wallet got brute-forced before launch.

Do not worry Nullu, i will make this lengthy and very secure. It will be very hard to brute force a password an hour before launch anyway if its long of course
