Last game, Blackwater only lost by 2 points against Ginebra, so I want to try a little experiment today. I’m betting on them to win straight up at 8.20 odds, and also taking the handicap at +14.5. I think that’s too high for SMB to cover.

I was thinking the same and was very hesitant to bet on San Miguel with a 14.5 spread, so I opted for live betting and managed to get a lower spread of -7.5 for SMB. The first quarter was quite close, but the Beermen pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back. Blackwater's big men were no match for Junemar Fajardo last night, and I wonder why Coach Jeffry Cariaso stuck with single coverage on JMF the entire time.

Great decision, turns out that bet didn’t go as expected. Blackwater didn’t show up to compete, maybe they just got lucky in the last game when they kept it close.

But now everything is clear, they’re still a farm team... a trash team, and that might be the last time I bet on them.
I just don’t want to get disappointed again.

This game would probably in Converge, the Dyip has been performing badly as they lose their last 5 matches, though it's still possible to win against Converge but that is very unlikely. Wow that's a huge handicap but by looking how DYIP playing there's no competition anymore not unless a powerful hands behind will dictate the momentum hahaha, but kidding aside looking to see them giving something to those bettors who still taking their chance betting for their handicap maybe they can give something decent, let see if how the game will ends up and what will be the result.

Lop-sided trades especially when it comes from SMC teams that it's becoming a norm already, and nobody's getting surprised in these kind of trades anymore. They will try, and try to preserve the team so that they can compete and the way to do it is to trade older players to get younger ones like what we are seeing with SMB and Ginebra for years. They don't care who you are. As long as you have a value, you can still get traded, and that's what happened here. As for the trade, I don't know personally who won the trade, but let's just see how this will translate on both teams.
Speaking of trades, the trade talks between Converge and TNT is almost done. LINK

Based on the article, the TNT are trying to get Jordan Heading in exchange for Mikey Williams. This isn't confirmed and finalized yet, but with what's happening on both sides, it looks like it will happen anytime soon. I wonder if Converge will afford Mikey Williams after how much he was asking in TNT, or his value dropped significantly already because he didn't play for quite some time in the PBA. Thoughts?

Honestly, I didn’t even know that Mikey Williams was already back with TNT. There were talks before that TNT didn’t want him anymore because of his professionalism issues. But if this is true, then I think TNT made a good decision. Heading is a great team player. He’ll fit well with TNT’s style, where they trust each other and share the ball.

Reports had it that Calvin Abueva will not yet play for the Batang Pier tonight so this means that NorthPort will be underman for tonight's ballgame but with a high spread i will go for NorthPort here.

If you did pick TNT either ML or handicap before the game it's a good catch as you mentioned NP need chemistries and they've shown lack on it against TNT, they been beaten with 24 points deficits, easy cover for the handicap and easy win for those ML taker who's okay for small odd, let see if how Gin kings will play today's game still have a lot of time for those who loves betting during live games, the line is on now you can pick while watching the game.

Let's not also forget the amount of salary that he can get there compared in the PBA. I really hope that those young players in the PBA that has the talent will play overseas because... because the competition there is way better than that on the PBA. If they don't have an opportunity outside the PH, I would rather see them play on other leagues like the MPBL.

With less popularity and already been dominated by both MVP and SMC for sure if you are one of those stars who recieve and offer overseas taking chances will always be a consideration to take, like what both of you said the compensation is really far from what the team can offer inside PBA.

He played like Luka Doncic, so it’s no surprise he puts up good numbers and is a big contributor to the team.

NorthPort is really struggling without him now, but that’s just how it goes. He got a big offer, and he took it, better that than rot in the PBA, where players eventually just get traded around as they age and lose motivation.

Just look at Abueva, he’s older now, so he got traded.
And who could forget Arwind Santos? I think he ended his career with NorthPort too.

Basically, the video is talking about how strong NorthPort would be right now if they didn't trade their draft picks. Imagine having Standhardinger, Bollick, Malonzo, and just recently, Will Navarro. If they didn't trade those draft picks, they could've been at least a playoff contender right now and can play toe-to-toe against SMC and MVP teams, but they're just in the league to develop young players only for these big teams to fish them and in exchange, they will get old and players that are at their post-prime of their career.

What a shame especially add the fact that the management can't do anything to stop this nonsense. I shared it here because just a few days ago, we just saw again yet a lop-sided trade between NorthPort and Magnolia, and will continue until they want to. This is the reason why I always say that I hope those young players must play outside the PH if there's an opportunity.

Nothing that players can do as even how good their performance if management choose them getting traded they can't do anything about it, and like what you said he grab his opportunity while he's still young instead of choosing PBA and sign for another contract he consider playing overseas and see what would be his future playing abroad surely the offer was nice that's a huge payroll to secure.

Just curious about the news regarding to this lost against NLEX, as I read something about death threaths against the power trio of Magnolia, a bettors theratening them on their social media accounts since the person loses a huge amount of money after that game, the trio was been escorted to make sure nothing will happen, those are same treatment agaisnt RJ abarrientos who missed his 4 points attempts way back Gin kings against Meralco.

It's not the SMB that will be playing tonight kabayan, it is the Ginebra San Miguel but it is stll interesting though as this game is a must win for both teams to get a solid spot on the final four. I'm rooting for the TNT here to continue their winning streak.
