While I like Coach Tim as a legendary coach, he should changed his approach towards the so-called 'unwritten rule' (though might be too late to changed approach now as he's now aging and might be closed to retirement :p). Maybe in his prime period, that was always the approach by most coaches but he should understand that not all coaches are having a same mindset, where in fact, it's not an illegal approach in the first place.

Overreacting to the highest level. Quotient system is necessary especially PBA eliminations format is single round robin.

Check also those reactions in some local sports groups about that incident where most says Coach Tim should not overreact like that.

In this confrence, every shot is a must, every points counts! Coach Tim knew that.
It was not a nice night for him as you can see before the match ends, before the last shot he is clapping at the ref.
adding all things up, he had a problem that night and a bad temper on that game.

These are what others didn't looked at before saying that 'play' is disrespectful for Coach Tim.

Top 6 are currently tightly closed at the standing and with that, every points is a must for a tie-breaking system thru game quotient.. With top teams having almost same W/L record, it's tough to secure at least Top 4 and at worst, even having the same standing at those at the top, some teams might end up on a Do Or Die scenario (if the same playoffs format will apply).

That quotient system will be an advantage if ever a tie happened.

I think at one point they were up by 20, then still ended up losing in the end. ROS just kept pushing their run and beat TNT late.

Both teams only scored a total of 25 points in the 4th. Final was 91-89.

That was really disappointing, at some point you’d expect TNT already had this in the bag. Their offense was flowing, even the 4-point shots from Ray Nambatac were going in. But ROS really had that never-say-die attitude (kinda like Ginebra). They kept pushing the pace, and even when their shots weren’t dropping, they didn’t slow down or give up.

They basically owned the 4th quarter and ended up beating TNT. So that winning streak of TNT is over just like that.

Considering that reason since the tie-breaking system is really important as for converge they need to secure that top 4 to have the advantage that's why they need every points to increase their chance, while for Ginebra, we know the never say die attitude if given a chance whoever the opponents they will do their best to move forward, another game to accept the outcome and be strong on the next following game.

I have a feeling they’ll win and cover this since Phoenix isn’t really a good defensive team, so they should be able to just demolish them. I’m watching the first game now and it looks like it’s another out-of-town venue again, so it’ll probably be another low-scoring game.

Phoenix is also struggling so i think the Gin Kings will have no problem defeating them and entertain the crowd. Don't know the reason why the spread is moving downwards, maybe there are people who put a lot of money on Phoenix.

I’m with you on that pick kabayan. Been hoping Ginebra wins too so I took the line, even if it’s a bit high, but I really believe they can cover it easily.

The first game I lost my bet since NLEX didn’t cover, I took -9.5 trying to get better odds, but that game was close from the 1st to 3rd. In the 4th, Titan’s offense just collapsed.
I’m hoping to recover that loss by winning the 2nd game. hope Ginebra pulls this one off for me.

Titan can really blind some strong teams. They are ties with NLEX at the end of 3rd Quarter! they even mange to lead by 1 point at the half.
But the fourth quarter was a show for Bolick and the Nlex warriors.

That was a crazy run in the 4th. I honestly thought Ginebra wouldn’t be able to cover because it was getting too close. Phoenix even took the lead at one point. And that wild foul at the end basically saved the spread. Troy didn’t even need to make both shots, just one was enough to cash our tickets.

Thanks, kabayan! That was one heck of a game. I actually stopped watching when the score was tied at 91 with three minutes left in the fourth quarter—I figured even if Ginebra won, they wouldn’t cover the spread. But lucky for those who bet on Ginebra, Phoenix got sloppy and didn’t score a single basket in that final stretch. It just goes to show that no matter how knowledgeable you are in sports betting, if luck isn’t on your side, you can still lose. Fortunately for us last night, luck was on our side—and we cashed in .

Definitely that was it. Ginebra should be using RJ more because he’s consistent with his shooting -  those 3-point shots were a big reason they were able to come back. Though we can’t deny he’s a liability on defense, they just need to find a way to cover that weakness. If he’s not on the floor, Ginebra’s offense struggles too, so they really have to balance it out.

He’s a lifesaver in a lot of Ginebra games because he doesn’t panic and he can create his own offense. That’s why you can see Tim Cone really trusts him even if he’s not a great defender. Without him, I honestly think Ginebra would’ve lost that game already.

PBA is on a long break now, so hopefully when they resume, Ginebra can fix this weakness because they’re really low in the standings.

They’re at 8th right now, and if they stay there it’s a disadvantage as they’ll need to win twice just to beat the team above them in the bracket during the elimination.
