There’s a pretty big jump from the opening line since TNT is now at +3.5, and the total has also dropped to 196.5. This is why sometimes it’s good to bet early, especially if you’re backing the public favorite, which in this case is obviously SMB. With this kind of line movement, it looks like a lot of bettors are already putting serious money on SMB.

The game will be tomorrow at 7, I think, so there’s still plenty of time for the line to move. Even if it stays at -3.5, I’m pretty sure a lot of bettors will still grab that. As for me, I’ll probably just observe what happens in Game 1 first. If this really turns into a long series, then doing some kind of martingale on TNT might make sense.

If SMB ends up winning Game 1, Game 2 lines should still have TNT as the underdog, so betting the moneyline becomes an easy play. Then you double again in Game 3, because there’s no way SMB sweeps it 3–0, since that wouldn’t make business sense and the books won’t allow it to be that simple.

SMB also has Mo Tautuaa, so they’ll definitely make use of him.
In terms of dominance at center, I think SMB have the edge since Mo and June Mar Fajardo are both strong inside.

The good thing with TNT is their competitive spirit. They don’t back down easily, just look at what they did against Meralco, they turned things around and closed the series. That came from solid defense and the fact that they really trust each other on the floor.

They really started to look that good when Chot Reyes took over the coaching job after he was removed from Gilas Pilipinas. Chot is a good coach, and he already proved that by winning a championship, which I think was against SMB. So there’s a bit of a revenge factor here. SMB will want to prove they’re still the best in the PBA All-Filipino Cup, but TNT is ready too and shouldn’t be underestimated. I really like this series, it feels well matched, and since it’s not a sister team matchup, we should get a more straightforward, non-biased outcome.

Seems like bettors are siding the SMB since the opening thats why the odds are changing.  to be honest 1.5 is a good odds  but the 3.5 will be a big disadvantage for SMB fans.
we can expect that the Game 1 will be a close match. I think I will just relax tonight with some bottle of beer. I will not bet for game 1 and make my betting money as a part of relax

I guess the pressure from those bettors who are starting to show support for TNT or there's a big gambler who put something decent to move the odd, though it's just a assumption and there's no actual or accurate reason it's more on how bookies project the potentials, and the decision is up still to the bettors who loves to shows their support to the team they think will give them decent benefits.

This upcoming game 1 will be a testing ground for both teams and we may see lots of adjustments while reading coaches playing system to win the game.

It feels like a trap game—at the end of the first half, TNT is up by a commanding 17 points. The Beermen’s outside shooting has been completely off, while almost everything the Katropa put up seemed to fall in. Still, there’s plenty of time left, and it will be interesting to see how San Miguel adjusts in the second half. By the way, RR Pogoy isn’t playing tonight, but several TNT players have stepped up. Even Galinato, who’s mainly tasked with defending Fajardo, has chipped in 8 points—a welcome bonus for TNT.
