Fajardo carried the team again with a 20/20 (+) game, points and rebounds. If he really wants to close this out, it’s no surprise why he’s considered the best player.
Like what was mentioned earlier, it was a very physical game, which explains the low scoring. The under 193.5 cashes tonight.

It's done and SMB win another title, like what you said those who took the under wins their bets and also those who believes placing their bets either ML or handicap, SMB did not allow that great comeback of TNT, I was in the impression when Heading manage to make that shot giving TNT their lead during the 3rd quarter will be the start of overrunning SMB, but it didn't last long as SMB don't have any plan to give up and being upset, Perez and Fajardo really took care of the business together of all those players who played for coach Leo, congrats mga kabayan!

That was way too easy for SMB. TNT managed to claw back after a huge first-quarter deficit, but they still ended up losing in the end.

Coach Chot didn’t look happy at all, he seemed to complain a lot, even hinting that the refs were favoring SMB.
TNT really needs to improve if they want to truly match up with SMB. They can reach the finals, sure, but they keep folding against SMB’s strong lineup.

There should be imports next time, right? I’m hoping TNT keeps RHJ as their import so they can try to get some revenge for that loss.

Bad news for SMB though, because Brownlee will almost surely be Ginebra’s import again. SMB is really strong in the All-Filipino Cup, but once it’s an import conference, it’s a different story. Not so sure how they’ll stack up there.

There’s still no definite schedule for the next PBA conference, but I heard a commentator mention that the All-Star Game will take place in March. Based on that, it’s likely the league will resume right after, making it safe to assume that the Commissioner’s Cup will kick off in March.

Meanwhile, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is now TNT’s resident import, having already signed a contract with the team. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury last year and is currently in the U.S. recovering. Hopefully, he’ll be back in time to reinforce TNT in the upcoming conference.

I honestly thought trades were happening only in the NBA right now, so seeing this PBA news surprised me, but it’s actually good news. The current team, even with Abueva dropping 40+ points at times, is still pretty bad overall since he is with the team that is not a playoff team, so something clearly needed to change.

Now that he’s with Converge, which is a legit contender, he can really help improve the team. I’d like to see him in the starting lineup too. They’re already solid with their bigs, so adding someone who can score, rebound, and bring energy is a good move by Converge in my opinion.

3 Players for Abueva, I know Calvin is getting old at the age of 38 he might be limited very soon but the play and sffort he showed he can still last 2 or more year maybe 4?
Those 3 players arent enough, Titan should trade other players and make a good support for calvin. This is a big win for the Converge, But still painful when i think of Headings and Mikey.

I agree and by adding him it will be an additional boost and spark for this team, having Balti, Arana, Stockton and Gomez De-Liano that's a solid core if Abueva's game play fits to their system, with his tenurity and experienced he can uplift those young superstars and knowing him when he do his old tactics it will boost the entire team, let see how things will change and affect the whole system of this independent team, they are already competitive so we may more from them after acquiring Abueva.

Wow that's great if they'll managed to bring him here that's an additional attraction to the fans, Bol Bol may bring additional entertainment if ever he shows up his full skills and TNT's system maximize him, though there's no list but for sure it's another interesting as each teams will bring their reinforcement to aid them with their campaigns, I like to see Converge and ROS to keep that competitiveness and bring decent import to help them to have a better run this upcoming season.

What makes it more exciting is that the Macau Black Bears will be joining as a guest team in the Philippine Basketball Association. Last time, we had the Bay Area Dragons, and now we’re getting another strong foreign team, so this should be really fun to watch. From what I’ve seen, this looks like a solid team too, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up reaching the finals against one of our local squads.

I’m really excited about this, especially since there’s a guest team again. Thanks for sharing the schedule too, even if we still need to wait a bit, at least now we know when it’s coming.

For this next conference, there’s already an import slot as usual, and the best imports in the PBA are expected to be back. RHJ and JB will be playing again, which already makes things exciting. As for the guest team, I really hope they’re strong so our local teams get challenged. It doesn’t really matter who faces them in the finals if they reach that level. Whether it’s SMB, TNT, or Barangay Ginebra, any of those teams can give them a tough fight.

I’m really excited about this development, mate. It’s a smart move by the PBA to bring back guest teams like the Macau Bears, and I’m also hoping we’ll see quality imports joining the league. With no height limit on imports in this Commissioner’s Cup, it would be amazing to see Bol Bol in action. That kind of star power would definitely draw more fans to watch the games live in the arena.
