After a big win in their previous game, Ginebra suffered a blowout loss to Magnolia.

Is Ginebra becoming inconsistent now or is Magnolia just getting stronger, considering that Magnolia is already leading Group B., I hope this time they are for real and not just introvoyz anymore.. maybe there's really a big change since they have a new coach, BTW, NLEX is consistently at the top with an 8-2 record, but SMB is just behind them at 7-3.

I hope this time NLEX will finally advance at least to the semifinals.

For me, Ginebra is just inconsistent at the moment. After two or three import changes, their chemistry was clearly not there and it may take some time for the locals of Ginebra and their import to jell but they don't have much time because they are at the bottom of the standings and they need to win every game. For me, Ginebra will not go deep in the playoffs especially now that RHJ is back for the TNT squad.

Fearless forecast, the championship trophy for this Governor's Cup will be between NLEX or TNT.

Phoenix will play against the Meralco Bolts tonight in the second game of a double header in the PBA.
This will be the Bolt's last game and they needed badly to win this one to solidify their spot in the quarterfinals but Phoenix needed this game as well but i have Meralco here winning since they have a little bit of a momentum after that close win against Blackwater on their last outing.

I haven't been following the PBA actively lately but I trust your judgment, therefore I will just follow you.

Aside from the point spread, I think it's going to be under as you mentioned Meralco needs to win this game. This team is known to be a defensive team, so they should control the pace here. I will bet under 203.5.

Sorry, mate, we lost that game. The Bolts actually had a strong showing in the first half, even building a 10-point lead going into the break. But Phoenix turned things around in the third quarter, outscoring them 32–24. Fortunately for Phoenix, their new import, Marcellus Earlington, who only managed 6 points in the first half, caught fire in the second and finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

With the win, Phoenix is the second team in group B to move forward to the quarterfinals along with Magnolia.

Two games later, and I've chosen to bet for Tropang TNT Giga while there are no games yet for Alex Eala as I don't see them yet despite the schedule on October 19. They'll be against the Converge FiberXers and nothing much to be serious on this game as of now despite the odds given is way better for TNT. I just noticed that there is not a lot of noise for the PBA's opening for this conference.

Two games later, and I've chosen to bet for Tropang TNT Giga while there are no games yet for Alex Eala as I don't see them yet despite the schedule on October 19. They'll be against the Converge FiberXers and nothing much to be serious on this game as of now despite the odds given is way better for TNT.

Got mine @1.96 for TNT. This is a good odds for those backing the Katropa because RHJ will be back today after a long lay-off due to injury. The reason for this close odds is the winning streak of Converge. Both TNT and Converge had an identical 7-4 win loss record so the winner will have a good spot in the cross-over quarterfinals since but the loser will still advance to the quarters.

I just noticed that there is not a lot of noise for the PBA's opening for this conference.

If you look at the arena, it were empty so that's is understandable that people on the north are longer eager to watch PBA games. There are rumors that the game 1 of the finals or semi-finals will be played in the newly built Cebu Arena, that for sure could pack the venue since that would be the first time the PBA will be held in that arena.

Too close bai, just 2 points. This is the type of defeat that's hard to accept when it's so close and yet it didn't win.

I still wish to see that there will be a massive crowd for the regular games in the PBA. I think decades ago, that's happening but this time, it's not. Only with the most important games and also during the weekends. I hope that the community and fans of the PBA will have that fire again in watching live games. The PBA management needs to do something more interesting than the 4 point line.

I thought it was already money in the bag for TNT as they were up by 10 points with 2 minutes left in the game but there is no safe lead in the PBA especially with that 4 point as Converge managed to convert 2 3's and Juan Gomez de Liano converted a 4 point to make the game close until Alex Stockton make that layup to send the game into overtime, thrilling game and just hope that every game would be that close so fans will come and watch live at the arena.

This is the reason why i dont want to bet for the SMB that game, The pattern of awarding is really scary. MVP, bedst import and so on, most of the time when awarded to the player, his team is not winning but I hope SMB will win.
Actually, Im planning not to bet on those 2 gaems on Wednesday and just enjoy the games with some friends and have a drinking session while watching.
