Also I know a guy who plays billboards and you hire them to play against someone whom you know is also good in playing billboards. It happens to my friend in billiard place. Someone asked him to play with him, and that match was using the money for the winner. So my friend called his friend to come to the billiard place, and he plays with that guy. With a long time of the round, finally my friend can win the money, but he needs to divide the money for his friend because he helps my friend to win from that guy.

Later, I heard from him that his friend was a professional billiard and his friend often to use money as a bet in the game and the winner took all of the money. His income only came from that billiard, and so far, he can live with the money because after he wins some money, he will go home and take a rest.

They have the money but they don't have the talent. Its the same thing like you are managing someone like an artist, you book him/her shows or gigs, and you get a cut from the pay that your talent will receive. Not everyone has connection to find gigs or shows. Same with those billiards guys here in the Philippines. They don't have the means to hop from one billiards hall to another to find a match, that's where managers come in.

But you could be a lot less skilled than others. There are a few people who really excel in what they do, more than the rest. There are also a lot of people who, despite playing 24/7, cannot make it to a decent tournament, much less earn from their games.

They go to different villages, towns, cities, and even provinces to challenge other players.

This is the best chance for a gambler to make money when they bet on themselves as they are confident on what they are doing.
Most gamblers does not bet on themselves, they bet on other players that they don't really know personally, they just make their own result and put their bet based on their analysis, that's what a sports gambler is doing, and in this field of gambling, only few are really successful.

If I have the same talent like you mentioned, I would bet a big money because I know what I can do, but not everyone really has that talent, and even if you are good in billiards like in your example, there is no assurance that you can get bet a big amount by just travelling looking for opponents to play with you.

Let's take billiards, for example. In billiard halls, there is always a player or two who would excel more than others. In my country, a good billiard player will either be brought by handlers to other billiard halls challenging their best players or someone from other places come over looking for a match. You cannot imagine but the bet could easily balloon to a significant amount because it is like a battle of pride. Billiard halls are like gang turfs in which local players are hanging out most of the time. When somebody from other place arrives challenging their best players, everyone could easily shell out a nice amount betting for their player. A bet could even reach a thousand USD.

We know if we are good enough to consider gambling as a profession if we are just honest with ourselves, all the qualities you've mentioned has to be possess by a gambler who likes to go with this kind of journey, but in the end, the result is what matters at all.

This reminded me of my past. Those guys you hire are more dangerous as they can somewhat disappoint you if you use them for play. My personal experience made me regret doing that, they make their charges and after they might have won against the opponent, they still demand some good reward from you. Sometimes they act like they own your money in the game without considering your profit. They played the game, enjoyed the game and still take a huge amount home.

I don't think it's wise to trust someone else's luck when it comes to a game that depends completely on luck! Maybe I can trust professional players that engage in sports betting since sports can somehow be predicted and experts in sports can turn to be really good advisers to guide on bets

Gambling is not suitable to be a profession, moreover it is used for a main income. It can indeed be done because I've also experienced it for several years, but to be honest I suffer a lot to do it because every day I am required to bet by having high pressure to get a profit. So, make gambling just to have fun with a little hope of winning, that way you deserve to be a professional gambler because playing with a good mood will make winning and luck at least easy to get.

Yeah it cannot be suitable as profession but it can be done in some ways.

I have known some people who use this as profession (but ofcourse they stablished their life at first before finding self to live for gambling instead of work)and good to say that they are still progressing and still doing good in life

For me it is the investment with the highest risk and to use it as a profession, you must learn now to be an expert gambling and you can able to handle your emotions when you are winning and at the same time losing. I didn't heard somebody who got rich in gambling already. Maybe there are some who are winning in a night but on the next night, they lose their money too.

Managing emotions is crucial for long-term success, but not easy. Most of us get involved with betting because of the 'rush' and strong emotions it can give you. To then stop looking for that rush.. even to get rid of it completely... is not easy for 99% of people.

About 12 years ago, I knew a coworker whose husband made a living as a poker player.  As far as I know he didn't enter tournaments per se, but instead went to the casino every day and played there.  I remember thinking that was a crazy way to earn a living, even though I figured it was quite possible if he was skilled enough.

That's one of the only ways I can think of to make a living as a gambler, i.e., by playing games of skill instead of those where the house always has the edge.  The latter is like trying to make money by playing the lottery--it's not possible.  And personally I can't picture the average person playing games of skill to support themselves (and especially a family).  It's got to be stressful and unless you're really good it's just not going to happen.

My friend tells me that he uses his friend skill in playing gambling, and while he watches the match, he can also get a new lesson from every friend he hires. My friend can play billiard, but he doesn't have good skills in those sports, so hire his friend will be a good way to gamble. Perhaps, my friend is like a broker who can gather a good player who has good skills in every sport so he can directly call them if he needed them.

By doing that, if his player can win, he will get the money, his friend will also get the money, everybody will be happy. When he loses, he will not be sad because he can find another winning from another sport.

Gambling has allot of profit from gambling it can be use as profession it has huge benefit and can make people rich faster than any other earning resource. People since long are betting in different games and they are accepting it as a good profession so many people are today professionals in gambling, so I am planning for.
