Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling?

Learn a decent profession, make good money with it, and gamble at your leisure, when it suits you, and maybe, even knowing little about a game, you will win big one day, because luck is the main factor in gambling, not your knowledge.

On point. I find people who are professional gamblers or the source of income is gambling cool since it's not common for me to see such persons. But, practically speaking, it would be better to find a job which depends on your skills without the need of luck to get paid. I'm not against those who earn a living in gambling. Its just, it's not very advisable. It will take guts and tons of times and efforts to be a master in that field. But, it's still a person's decision though. Like they say, enter at your own risk.

Many people tried to take this opportunity and consider lifetime work but only a few of them survive. It may be because we have differences in life and might to say that some of those who try aren't preferred enough for the possible results. For to know that gambling is not all about luck but also it needs skills, strategy, and smart thinking. If we could adopt this environment, it simply means that we are about to succeed in gambling and live this opportunity.

The prize in gambling will attract people to gamble and come to the gambling website or in the casino. That makes people spend their money, and some of them are learning the lesson of gambling because they want to try to use gambling for a source of income. That makes them have a dream to use gambling as a profession.

Yes, many of them will fail to use gambling as a profession, but there will be many more people who will try that. That is why the gambling business will never end and still running for a long time.

If you consider gambling as fun to wage some amount for a limited period of time and not focused on the amount you are going to win then there is no harm in it but once you consider making a profit through gambling that is what fucks you up and your bank balance and you cannot recommend gambling to anyone, if you are a good poker player then you can try that but the rest are just luck.

Even the professional poker players often lose a huge amount of money because they are not lucky at that time. There is a bit of strategy on it yes but you need luck also in order to win on it.

I consider gambling as a form of entertainment only especially when I'm watching sports (NBA,PBA) and sometimes MMA. It makes me more excited when I'm betting while watching and even I lose to my bet, it is ok for me. There are some gamblers who wants gambling to be their profession. I don't blame them but for me, you need a huge amount of money for it.

Pretty much. but peace of mind will not be obtained for a gambler. all of them in my opinion are nervous. I myself as a person who has so much experience at that time where daily peace of self can not be obtained. what we have in mind is that we will win or lose the bet,and if it can, of course, our emotions and ambitions can be controlled too. because in some cases a gambler will lose out with ambition and emotion

Given this day and age, there are, most probably. People have been so creative and have always found so many ways to make money. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few people here who do nothing but sit at home and gamble huge sums of money with a click of a few buttons and don't ever have to work or do anything else.

I think those people are also called cryptocurrency traders.

Given this day and age, there are, most probably. People have been so creative and have always found so many ways to make money. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few people here who do nothing but sit at home and gamble huge sums of money with a click of a few buttons and don't ever have to work or do anything else.

I think those people are also called cryptocurrency traders.

in some point yeah Traders are also Gamblers because they are risking their money and time in each Currency they are buying to trade,though this is not a school learned profession yet they are gaining and making good profit from this

so basically yes there are many of us here in cryptocurrency that living from Gambling as professions

I play poker a lot, and I know that this game is not entirely based on luck. But I also watch a lot of poker related videos on YouTube, and from those videos I've learned that even the professional poker players, who are considered the best in the world, lose pretty frequently because of bad luck. That's why I wouldn't recommend this occupation as a profession to anyone, luck is too much of a factor in it.

But I see a lot of pro poker players videos too and sometimes I wonder,,, why do they make such stupid moves? Like a guy I saw with a bluff, he kept going all in with some player who almost busted, and in the end he kept losing and giving all of his balance to the player who would have lost if he was just patient. Even pros are human;)

That’s true a gambler always run after mental peace as he remain worry about winning and take tension to win. Gambler has to face so many things to get profit spending your money then remaining worry to win is not a miner thing for this we will have to be so professional and those who have guts to face all risk are able to become good gambler.

We all have good and bad days! I had many days when poker was only good for me, good hands, awesome cards on river, but there are days when I lose and I can`t do nothing about it. That`s why bankroll management is crucial if you wish to play in long run and make money from poker. I lack of discipline, for example. I play cause I like to play, and when I win I go to higher stakes table, and many times I lose. After years I`m probably -ev with poker, but I don`t care, I still play and I still like the thrill from that game!

They make stupid moves for the sake of profit. They are doing stupid decisions in order for them to win. Even the professional poker players are losing money so does other gamblers too who are gambling in different games. If your'e not lucky then you will lose what happened to the player. I use to play poker too but with no bet just a game so I know how to play it a little bit.

Hard to say that because many people who get in the gambling business will use gambling as their work. They will think that they can win someday, and they will hit the jackpot too because they see that some people can win big money from gambling. That will keep them from staying in the gambling place and play many gambling games.

That person will not realize the possibility for them to win because they only think about the win money and pretending they will be the winner. That will make them lose more and more money because they will not calculate how much money they will spend on gambling games.

I agree to it completely because I have experienced it myself as when I used to think how I can make small bets everyday and I had 0.1 btc, so I used to bet at 98% win chance, taking everyday 0.001 btc ($10) which was enough for me. On the 12th day, I busted the entire 0.1 btc in a single bet. Hence, gambling is the worst way to income no matter how good a strategy is.

I would suggest to not make it either a temporary profession because gambling is not a profession at the first place. It is just a game and that too the type which brings more frustration than entertainment. Instead of making gamblers happy, it leaves them with lifetime problems. The reason behind is the involvement of money. Gambling is a pure luck based game and cannot become a source of income at all.

Well gambling can actually be used as a profession, when one owns a casino. If they don't have money to own a casino, then they can invest in a casino's bank roll and that's the only way I can see someone using gambling as a profession. Instead of betting against casino, side with the casino and have the advantage of house edge

Yes there are some people that makes gambling their profession already but it will take so much capital in order for them to do it because not all the times, they will win.

For me, I see gambling only as a way of giving money to other people and to be honest that is how other gamblers that are losing feel. If a gambler double or triple their initial capital, sometimes they will become more greedy and will bet more until they lose. If you want to become professional gambler (if there is a term like that), you  must know how to control yourself and always set a target profit.

Well, even poker is a pure game of chances. The only happening I can see is of sports betting because that's the game where you can actually get the results correctly as it is purely a game of skill. Still risky but yeah.
