Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling?

I don’t believe this apart from the Pokerstar series in Tv.I have seen many people claiming they make a living out of gambling but that was only a claim as after sometime their life turned south in a really bad way.Some even became homeless.I have yet to see an example of a normal person who makes a living from gambling.

The chance is slim to always win so I don't think someone will make this as normal job that can give them passive income. There is no way you will not lost even how good you are in gambling . It's only works in movie.
But in real life not even 1% of gamblers win in long run even how veterans you claim you are that's why other prefered to invest in house instead of being a players since they know how little the chance to win continuesly.

But honestly the one I see earning a living on gambling is the casino workers since they are earning a salary from the site and most provably they have nothing to lose since they are in good side  (Just my opinion only).

Maybe because True gambler don't Love Drama ,and it's not their Forte to Post and tell Stories in which they don't benefits at all.

A friend of mine is playing professional poker online. He spends a lot of time playing per day usually like 4-6 tables at the same. He says he is happy like this and makes some decent money. I don't know how much he actually makes but he has a nice apartment and a high end PC. But he only plays poker, he doesn't really like to play any other games like black jack or roulette.

He's an expert on it.

If he's focusing on it that means that he's really well off playing poker. He can make a decent living out of it. I think I've got some old friends, old by means a friend a long time ago but no longer communicating today that does the same.

There's really money on it that you can work but it's hard that they have to do it every day and if they do nothing within a single day, no income.

Unfortunately this will not be easy for other people to do, even if you watch the YouTube channel that he has but I'm sure, you will not be able to do it exactly as those who make money only from blackjack. Therefore, making money only from gambling does exist but not all gamblers are able to do it because making money from gambling is something that is very risky if you don't have a strategy from experience so far.

Haven't meet one, but i have lot of friends who loves to gamble but turned out to have a miserable life in the end. What my perspective if you're living through gambling, i think everyday is living at the edge for you. That path maybe full of hardships and loss, i can't imagine how one can feed their family through that lifestyle.

Having gambling as our main source of income or considering it as a profession is really a risky choice and we might lose everything in just one wrong click. There's no guarantee of winning in gambling no matter how good you are at it. That kind of lifestyle couldn't make a person rich for life. It's still important that we'll still have a stable job and enough savings before we gamble.

What you are saying is true, because some people can make money from the Blackjack game with a counting card strategy. Although not everyone
can do this, it does prove that gambling can be used as a profession for some people. One example of a person who made gambling a profession is
Mike Aponte who is a former MIT Blackjack team, which had beat many casinos.

There are regular tables where these professionally skilled poker players can join for them to make some money. They have communities too and they can easily play through online or physically.

It wont be counted if you do particularly talk on working on a casino as an employee but not totally a gambler and you are literally talking about a job where it doesnt involved any games which is understandable.

In talks of people who do make gambling is a profession then some of them do able to do so specially on strategic type of games like poker which there are really some professionals out there who can make out
a living with just having this kind of expertise.

Many had suffered losses while only a few make a win, that is the reality in gambling. Some make gambling as their living because they know themselves that they certainly make it. I ain't do it of course if I only lose in gambling, why I should have to stay neither?

I'm not going to wonder why some people make this gambling as their source of income is probably they are good at gambling. Only a lucky person can have this and the majority don't have it. And even I have those skills and luck, I don't still have to rely on luck but to find security and passive income out from gambling.

Even a wealthy person who uses gambling to live out will not have always have a chance to do that thing because that only works for the selected person who will succeed in gambling. I believe that there are people who use gambling as a profession to make money and live out from gambling. If we count the number, perhaps, that is not many gamblers who can do that. That person will have good skills in some gambling games, have enough experience that helps them to win the most, they know what the strategy they need to use, and else.

There are a lot of gamblers who depend their lives into gambling as far as I know. But if your gonna ask me how large they are now, I have no
idea about how many of them, just all I know they are many at the moment. I will now include myself among them. And I admired those who are good in gambling and earned much into it.

Bet amount highly depends on the opponents your are facing so if it is contest then probably most skilled players all around the world will join if the rewards are in millions. Professional players do simple table rarely and just for fun in my experience.

We can't call them successful in gambling if they are already wealthy because their funds not totally comes from gambling but from Businesses Because these type of people are usually lose more than win in gambling because they Need no money from gambling ,they can live and sustain their lives so their Mindset is to just Gamble their Budgets and if win ,they will gamble again because satisfaction wont come on them easily .

I think That there are People who become successful solely from gambling activities but they are not willing to Reveal here ,maybe they just don't feel it is necessary or they don't like posting here at all.
