I think none could imagine seeing this weak performance from João Félix in the game they had against Real Sociedad. Because this Portuguese player had a good performance in the first games when he joined Barcelona and he is a player who is really interested in playing for his team.

Joao Felix was actually impressive for Barcelona in his first four or five games for the club but hasn't been living up to the expectations in his recent games for the club but I don't think it was the reason why the club manager cave Hernandez substituted him in the game against Real Sociedad. The manager knew he needed to grab all three points from that game in other to still remain in the race for the league title and saw Felix as the player who should be subbed off.
Felix is still an important member of the Barcelona squad if you ask me and I'm sure he's gonna work towards improving his performance in coming weeks

I agree that Real Madrid may be focused on how they play Braga on Wednesday, but anytime they may still win and gain more points by playing more league games, because that will be the big problem now. Real Madrid were really disappointing last night. They were incredibly dominant against Vallecano by meeting the expectations. They had over 1.00 xG in both halves as well. But all that effort still couldn't bring about a single goal.    I thought Bellingham would do his magic once again maybe just as he did against Barcelona and many more opponents.

I expected Joselu to be replaced by Rodrygo but he wasn't subbed off either. I don't why Ancelotti wanted to keep him in the game while he was the worst performing player on the pitch. I hoped to see Arda Guler being subbed in for at least 10 minutes but it didn't happen unfortunately.

Barcelona are slowly drawing back and they strive to secure 3 points confidently, if it isn't out of luck, then it's by chance  but the truth remains that they're totally different from the normal way they used to be before now, the team just need to be restored back to factory settings as well after week, there's always less confidence in them from their fans.

They still have in the team quality players and good managerial board that only requires extra effort in adequate planning and strategizing for every game. The player's confidence should be restored, the shades the fans may throw at them partially should be embraced and used as a tool to foster additional efforts to be put in place. All hope isn't lost for the team as better things can still be enacted from them, there only should be avoidance of bad to worse occasions.

Barcelona were not in the best form after losing to Real Madrid because when they faced Real Sociedad they almost lost full points if Arujo had not found the back of the Real Sociedad goal in the added minutes of the second half. Arojo is a Center Back and if you see a forward who is unable to score a goal, it is a problem because currently Barcelona has several good forward players, but in this match they had difficulty creating opportunities because Real Sociedad's defense was so good.

And if Ter Stegen wasn't the goalkeeper maybe Barcelona would have lost because he made several good saves in that match. Cancelo and Lopez were less creative in building attacks and didn't look coherent with several of the other midfielders and in my opinion, only Gundogan performed well in that match. Xavi Hernandez's job is becoming more difficult to get Barcelona back into shape and if the front line is inconsistent it will affect their goal productivity.

Joao Felix presence at Barcelona is quite helpful because when several players like Lewandowski are injured he can still be relied on. Even though he couldn't cover up the shortcomings on the front line, Xavi still felt his services were still useful. Apart from that, Joao performed better at Barcelona compared to previous clubs who considered him less suitable. At Barcelona Joao Felix was willing to reduce his salary so he could continue playing on the field. In fact, he didn't care about playing for any club after his return to Atletico Madrid was rejected. In fact, he was willing to wait for Barcelona's invitation at that time.
