This game is be coming hard for Madrid to win,and of a truth,this weekend has really been tough for the big teams.Almost all the big teams in the different leagues found it difficult to defeat their opponent,the only team that played and won without stress was Manchester City. It's so difficult to predict the outcome of a football match these days as the big teams seem not to be living up to expectations as they ought to,  Madrid flopping during the in this game gives one cause for concern as the weekend turned out to be a bad one for some europe's elite clubs perhaps we do hope that next weekend turns out to be better for them but whilst we patiently wait for that to happen we re hoping to see real Madrid snatch a late minute win.

I do think it's time Atletico Madrid part ways with Diego Simeone. He has made a great players outta the club and also sold products. The top four looks competitive and interesting. Girona are really paying the price for them top!

However much you believe that Atletico Madrid needs another coach, I believe Diego Simeone is a great coach and still worth fighting for. Diego Simeone does not have to be fired and replaced by another coach, unless Diego Simeone leaves on his own to get a better challenge in another league. Atletico Madrid is certainly worthy of considering anything for the good and progress of the team, but who is the coach most worthy of replacing Diego Simeone who has a strong character in producing great players like Atletico Madrid players?

I believe Atletico Madrid will have great difficulty finding a suitable replacement coach if Diego Simeone leaves the team at the end of this season or is fired, in fact I really believe that Atletico Madrid's performance will never be the same in the hands of another coach. Atletico Madrid has many players with good defensive characteristics, maybe Jose Mourinho is suitable for them.

Now Girona is again taking over the standings and Madrid 2 points adrift of Girona and 2 points from Barcelona, it seems that competition will continue when Madrid opens opportunities for Barcelona. If Barcelona won in the last El Clasico match maybe those who are in second place replacing Real Madrid.

After 23yrs Rayo was able to draw Real Madrid at home, this was a big record for them today as Rayo stays on clean shit as Dimitrievski made some dangerous save which would have be a goal. Real Madrid tried their best in the second half but they were unlucky to net the post and they lost the record that they have been keeping for 23yts.

Jude Bellingham couldn't come to the aid of Real Madrid at the last minute of the game just like the way he do secure victory for Real Madrid in seven won matches this season. Girona is comfortable sitting on top of the table as they are using two points to be ahead of Real Madrid and four points ahead of Barca. It will be surprising that Girona will win the league this season, if they can be consistent till the end.

This is a very disappointing performance coming from the Madrid side, as many would expect them to go out and win the game, it happened to be that they couldn't take advantage of their chances. Is as if they're relaxed or should I say getting ready for champions league game that's why they drew, but I can't imagine a team that's known for going out and winning every game and securing the 3pt would drop point at this stage.
Champions League games ain't suppose to make Madrid lose or draw a game everyone thought they win, to me I feel Madrid are gradually losing that touch of brilliance, with time they won't be that sharp on the field of play and it will hunt them very well. To me the Braga game in the champions league shouldn't be a problem for them to draw tonight's game.

Playing at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium against a team like Rayo Vallecano I was of the opinion that the Real Madrid players were gonna score so many goals but unfortunately for Carlo Ancelotti's men the game ended up in a goalless draw. It was the first game since the start of the season that neither Real Madrid or their opponents could not find the back of the net.
Rayo Vallecano I know must have been very happy with the result because it's actually not an easy task to take a point away from the Santiago Bernabeu as a visiting team.

Girona form being compared to Leicester’s title run form wouldn’t be a bad idea except for the fact that the big dogs like Real Madrid and Barcelona who are known to challenge seriously for the title especially with the Young Galacticos Jude Bellingham who’s on fine form and Joao Felix who has added the spice to the Barcelona attack.

 Atletico Madrid is a good side though not very consistent in form but could still pose a threat for a top 3 finish, but with Girona fine start to the league I think the top 4 spot is going to be a big one for them to play in the UCL next season, i think consistency will play a big role in the team’s top 4 finish but lack of financial power could be a big factor. Neverthelessfootball is full of surprises so let’s sit back and enjoy.

In my opinion, Girona will not be too strong to maintain their concentration to be able to maintain their ranking until the end of the competition. Even though this week Girona was able to widen the point gap with Barcelona or Real Madrid, I'm sure that with so many games remaining in this season it will be difficult for them to maintain their best form. But I am also amazed by Girona performance this season, but Real Madrid and Barcelona are the favorite team to win the title this season.

Yes, maybe Girona will be compared to Leicester City if they succeed in winning the title this season. Girona opportunities are huge and they must maximize this season as their best season. Madrid only got 1 point from this match. Rayo was playing fully defensive strategy which is making real madrid feel so hard in scoring against it, There have been some chances but madrid is unable in converting all of these chances into the goals.
It's bad result from madrid caused by many people are thinking that madrid was going to win the game against rayo. Rayo's defense looks very strong at this moment. It's also surprising me how real madrid is always pressuring this club but it can still focus to defend.
