They are playing Valladolid away in the last game of the season, with Valladolid desperate for a win in their quest to stay up. An open game will suit Atletico here, they need a win because in case of equal points Real would be champions due to better h2h score.
Real won't have it easy in the last round though, they have Villarreal who is still fighting for the EL. However, I feel Atletico will need a win to be champions.

Real Madrid deserve it if they win because they have tried too much with limited player resource. It is unbelievable that how they have gone too far with many injuries in the club.

It is unfair if consider Atletico don't deserve the trophy. They have been in the first position of La Liga since the first half. Their performance in the second half of season is worse but generally they deserve the trophy if they win their match in the last day.

Generally, Atletico is the best team in La Liga and they have come back on time to secure their position. Suarez will have a very sweet season after the bitter sack from Barcelona. I remembered he cried in his Farewell press conference in Barcelona.

I dont think anyone would have expected them to win after being down a goal with only 15 mins to spare. Osasuna even tried the good old time wasting tactic when it was 1-1 to be able to at least secure a draw the game for themselves but it only resulted in a yellow card. Still, ATM managed to cash in on their luck for a couple of late goals. 1 match to go, the title is theres for the taking..surely.

The Laliga title seems to be left between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid right now. Barcelona very much sealed there fate and got out of the contest with them loosing there game against Celta de Vigo yesterday . So much for banking on one player to get all 3 points in a game. C. Lenglet red card yesterday opened the team, his challenge was reckless and without coordination.

Atletico Madrid taking on Real Valladolid on there next fixture is surely not going to be an easy one. The point difference between the teams at the relegation zone and those just above it (Getafe, SD Huesca, Elche, Real Valladolid) isn't that much and any error could mean escaping or being in the relegation zone. I don't like this tie-breaker rule honestly. I prefer Premier League's Goal Differential. Teams have to be given more credit with their offensive and defensive performance the entire season.

Same, I find goal differences more appropriate tool to determine which team is better since it takes on consideration all games. H2H can be very random especially this season with the amount of absence due to Covid-19 + injuries + cards punishment, a team can find itself playing with almost the second team and lose a match that might kick them from the trophy.
At this point, ATM has no excuses, Valladolid didn't win a single game in their last 11 matches with 3 successive defeats vs teams that aren't better than ATM. Besides odds are ridiculously in favor of ATM @1.4 vs @7.6 for Valladolid!

I believe ATM definitely has the upper hand here but you never know with these kinds of things. I mean we have just seen them luckily get 2 goals late in the game but that is not going to happen each time, one bounce from own player, one hit the bar, one lucky gk save from other team and you got yourself a team who gives up, it is seriously risky.

I am not saying ATM will not be champions by the way, they "most probably" will be, but that also doesn't mean that Real Madrid should give up and not even play starting eleven next game and not try to win, Real should still try to win because with just one loss from ATM and you got yourself a big Real victory and championship on the very last game. Also barca is very lucky that sevilla lost, I mean there was a serious chance that Sevilla could have been third and Barca would have been fourth right now.

The current position of Sevilla and Barcelona in the standings is safe enough to qualify for the Champions League next season. Nothing is more important than that now that Barcelona failed to maximize their chance of winning a match and a title they might have won a few weeks ago and is now impossible. I think yes. You're right pirlo need longer flying hours at other clubs. As for Zidane I think a lot of clubs want to use his services, he's a great coach, even juve I think he deserves to replace Pirlo. Zidane also played with Juve before playing for Madrid.

There is only 1 match left and they are trailing by 2 points to Atletico Madrid. Their only chance to win the title is if Atletico loses their match since atletico are also ahead on goal difference of 3. That means, if Atletico do end up drawing their last match. Real Madrid have to win their match and from what I just found out, in case both teams are equal on points for the title, their head to head goal difference will be considered in both legs. H2H goal difference Real Madrid wins. I'll put up the scenarios below on what are the possibilities.

ATM draw their match, RM draw their match - ATM wins title

Atletico Madrid are probably at the edge of winning the La Liga's trophy this season. They did awesome in their last 5 matches, but have to win their last match which they will be playing against Valladolid, who are already in the relegation zone  with zero chances of escaping, because Atletico Madrid will definitely beat them in order to secure winning the League. Atletico Madrid are topping Real Madrid with 2 points, and needs 3 more points to claim the La Liga's trophy.
