Getafe - Villareal was an extremely boring match. Unfortunately, we see more and more such 0-0 matches lately. Barcelona were much, much better and were already leading 2-0 in the first half. But after the break 4-0 it was clear that it was a simple victory. Could this be the harbinger of Barcelona's strength this season? Thank you that we can't see where Barcelona are until they play against an opponent like Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid. Barca have been performing well so far, winning 3-0 at home against not the weakest of opponents... Of course, it's still too early for them to claim the top spot in the standings, but this season they have clearly started better than the previous one... Barcelona - Valladolid game has started. It is normally a very comfortable game for Barcelona and I'm expecting a solid effort from the attacking trio of Dembele-Lewandowski-Raphinha. Xavi's game plan is working like a clockwork these days and I expect it to be like that throughout the season in the league. They are just unlucky sometimes even though they are in full control of games. But I don't think this will be a hindrance for them to maintain their claim for the league title this season.

Barcelona won 4-0 without a goal in return from the opponent. Well, Barcelona took a quick lead through their star Lewandowski in the 24th minute. The situation became even more interesting after Barcelona took a 1-0 lead where attack after attack was created so that Barcelona could double their advantage through Gonzales at the end of the first half. Seeing barcelona game getting fiercer I think they will be easy to win the next game. And we are back to discussing Lewandowski where he has contributed 4 goals in his first 3 matches with Barcelona. I believe he will be the top scorer this season if nothing impossible happens to him such as an injury.

well I was even surprised by this attitude of villareal, it didn't even look like they managed to win and score at least 2 goals against strong teams, today they just didn't feel like playing, they didn't make much effort to score goals, there were some clear situations that they could score, but they just handed the ball to the opposing goalkeeper. it was a situation that made me very angry that I even stopped watching the game when there were 5 minutes left to finish, and I bet on them and lost bet, in my last post I considered them as a team with the potential to finish in 3 position but after this one game I start to think they are not strong enough to finish in 3rd position

Sevilla doesn't need to win the first games, that is not the point of a whole regular season. I get that some people expect a lot of great results but the reality is that you could start badly and be better in the end.

i hope sevilla players and coaches don't delude themselves into thinking that they can afford to lose games at the beginning and can recover later, this is a very wrong thought, the more points they lose and other teams gain points they stay there at the bottom of the table and start playing under pressure because they will be afraid of getting relegated and knowing that they don't have infinite money to buy great players to get out of the relegation zone immediately so I suggest they push early and win games early

I was so excited watching the game today. Barcelona played to win or could it be that they won because they played a weaker team? Well, the later is what some of my football buddies I banter with think. Lewandowski was on fire today and he keeps proving that he is one of the best buy decision the club has made. Real Madrid's game is on right now and I can tell that it is just walk in the park for them. My prediction 2-1.

Right now we are in 25th minute of the game between Espanyol vs Real Madrid where Vinicius Junior early goal give them lead and most chances they are going to end this match with perfect result for themselves and their dream start of this season is also going on with perfect 9 points from three games with in coming weeks things are going to be tough as now in fourth round they are going to face Betis which is also having perfect start of this season and 9 points from three games even Real Madrid is going to play this game at Bernabéu but still a good challenge for them to keep themselves at top with perfect result.

I just check odds are clearly indicating they are hot favorite for this game, and they are going to thrash Betis at home with good result.

Now for Real madrid against Espanyol it really makes me nervous. especially after Espanyol was able to equalize in the 43rd minute . and now the score is 1-1. but so far the possession of the ball remains Real Madrid in the lead. I hope in the second half Real madrid can score again and win this game. because if Real madrid loses then many people will also lose in the bet hahahaha including me.

As most predicted beforehand, that Real Sociedad would be able to beat Elche. And they answered with a narrow victory, with Mendez's goal in the first half, precisely in the 20th minute. The difference they played was not too significant, but Real Sociedad were better than Elche.
In other matches, I was a little surprised by what Sevilla achieved against Almeria.

Elche did not show a good performance at all, they have only collected 1 point from the three matches that have been played. Real Sociedad, who were beaten 1-4 by Barcelona in the second week, managed to rise by beating Elche 1-0 while extending their winning streak over Elche.
Sevilla, who used to fill the top flight of La Liga, have not been able to get positive results. Surprisingly Sevilla was forced to give up by the promotion team (Almeria) with a thin score of 1-2. Sevilla has only got 1 point from the three games that have been played, due to their poor performance this season, Sevilla had to settle for 15th place. Obviously this is not a good achievement for a team that often fills the top four positions.

The La liga has been very competitive and interesting. The big teams are showing why they are tagged as the bog teams in the league. Real sociedad showed good character bouncing back with a win against Elche after a disappointing lose to the league's giant Barcelona. I think this win will set them back on track again and boost their confidence in the next games to come.

The third week match between Barcelona and Real Valladolid became a quite tense match, Barcelona slaughtered Valladolid with 4 goals of which 2 goals were scored by Lewandowski, a new Barcelona player. With a 4-0 win against Valladolid led Barcelona to second place in the standings in the Spanish league with 7 points from 3 matches.

Even though Espanol have only 30 percentage of possession as of now(50 mins). They have more shots and shots on target than Real Madrid. They've had better chances too, just that they couldnt convert them. It's still 1-1 and if it goes on the same way, Real might have a hard time winning the match.

Lewandowski is a vibe, he is worth the hype right now at Barcelona, today's match looks as if it was made for Lewandowski but I think Real Madrid will soon replace that spot they are in a few minutes but Espanyol wouldn't go down easily on this fight.
It seems that Lewandoski is going to reshape Laliga this season, the league is barely just 3 weeks and he is already topping the highest goal scorer with 4 goals and Iglesias from Betis, I'm expecting Benzema to get motivated but Real Madrid players are just sharing single goals among players.

Lewandowski is doing what he knows how to do best, that is to score goals for his teams, either when he is playing for Poland his country or any club that he plays for, Barcelona are lucky to have Lewandowski, the only sad part of it is that it would not be for too long because of his age, but they can he happy for what he will do for them until he retires or leaves the club. Needless to say that Aubameyang is not going to play too many matches with Lewandowski in Barcelona, he should push for a move to Chelsea, or a club that he will play often.

Owing to the arrival of lewandowski to Barca their performance has really improved and more of a well decorated el-classico will taking place this season as it were in the days of Messi vs Ronaldo.
I am sure that laliga top table position  will be much competitive between Barcelona and real Madrid as both teams may not be much above the other with a good margin in points, while other teams like Sevilla, A.madrid Villa real will just be struggling to find themselves among the top four on the table.

Just as we speak, Benzima finally show up and its 2-1 all of a sudden for Real Madrid. Was going to be 3-1 but a goal got ruled out. That's the quality of Real Madrid, even on a bad day in the office.. they manage to scrape it through with the wins and just now Espanyol player got a red card which pretty much guarantees an away win for Real Madrid. Just now Real Madrid scored from a free kick to make it 3-1! Well, that's a wrap and 3 points for Real. Which takes them back up top on the League on goal difference.
