Madrid will reclaim back their top position for the new week today as the play Mallorca later in the day at Santiago Bernabéu. Mallorca haven't had a good start this season and will have to concede more goals today while the  Los Vikingos will see this as a sweet opportunity to gather points to stay un beaten while the compete with their strongest rival now for the title

Not only this week, at least I predict for the next few weeks Madrid will still lead at the top of the standings, until they meet rivals Barcelona next October, based on current achievements the two clubs are only 3 points adrift if Madrid manage to win from Mallorca today.

Surprisingly 10 minutes before the end of the first half Mallorca beat Madrid through Vedat Muriqi's goal.

But both Barcelona's defense and attack are very strong this season. Xavi will be looking to win both the Champions League and La Liga titles this season. Because this season Barcelona spent a lot of money to add new players to the team. And the new players are doing very well in the Barcelona team.

To be more precise, Xavi brought back a long lost Barcelona style of play. As the identity and character of El Clasico attached to Barcelona, of course it is natural for Xavi to rise again. What a beautiful day for Real Madrid. Even though they have to play without Karim Benzema, Real Madrid still proves that they can play well. In the first half, it was seen that they struggled a little to create good chances, but in the second half, they seemed to gain confidence and they managed to improve. As a result, Vini managed to score the second goal for Real Madrid through slick collaboration with his teammates (a nice pass from Modric and a great run from Rodrygo). For the third goal, Rodrygo deserves a big applause. He has composure and he shows a very beautiful dribbling and finishing touch.

Yes, so far this season Real Madrid is the only team that has had perfect results with consecutive wins, but maybe Real Madrid's first obstacle is against Atletico. Because even though Real Madrid are unbeaten so far, Real Madrid still haven't played against tough teams. So yes, with Real Madrid having to play against Leipzig in the Champions League it is still not easy even though the opponent is Leipzig, because the match in the Champions League certainly has high prestige so Ancelotti is required to make the right rotation so that the results obtained are still good results when playing against Atlético.

Arguably, Xavi has given Barcelona his life back. In the middle, Barcelona became an almost unrecognizable Barcelon. But Xavi came in and put together a great team of youngsters himself that won the hearts of all Barcelona supporters. Now it is satisfying to watch Barcelona play. But don't be so optimistic, the season has just started, we will have to wait a little longer to know the fate of Barcelona.

Laliga is here again and I really can’t wait to see it start all over again, last season wasn’t that dramatic because Barcelona didn’t challenge for the title but I know with the players xavi have sign so far I think this season will be very challenging. It was a comfortable win for Real Madrid and at the same time extending their winning streak in their previous 5 matches. They can still keep their distance from their rivals until now who also got a win this week.
In another match Atletico Bilbao lead 0-3 over host Elche. Looks like the goals will continue to increase in the second half later.

when we were losing and without benzema I was worried that the game could end with our defeat, but today we managed to overcome the lack of benzema and managed to score a lot of goals, that is without a doubt something very good and that all real madrid players need here forward to be able to do: "we win games when benzema is not on the field". Now in the next games we will have big problems, in the champions league we will have a big problem that is the fact that Leipzig have changed coach and we will have been strong to the point of having scored many goals in the last bundesliga game, they beat dortmond in a way humiliating, so real madrid will need to have a good defense, but that doesn't even worry me much, we've always had good defense, what worries me is the attack, I don't know if benzema will be able to play in the next game against Leipzig, then we'll have to play against Atlético Madrid I honestly don't see them being very strong, they are an inconsistent team that can even surprise us

Real Madrid, although they win every game, has already become a cash cow for those who like to bet live on favorites who have difficulty during the game. If I remember correctly, in almost every game, even if Real Madrid scored first, the score became 1-1 and at that moment the bet on Real was extremely valuable. I would like to know how long this pattern will last - either Real will start to win more reliably, or still lose points in some game.
