Actually for me personally it doesn't matter when Barcelona fail in the Champions League, as long as they can be successful in La Liga (not necessarily a champion). But that can't be the case for Barcelona fans, they want to see Barcelona succeed in both competitions.
Xavi has just built Barcelona, so there's no need to aim high. It's not that they can't afford it, it's just that for a newly built club, playing aggressively and consistently is already good. They have the capital to navigate the next season, and that should be targeted so as not to interfere with them in the process of solidifying the club as a whole. What they lacked in their performance against Bayern was luck. That's absolutely correct! Barcelona needs to do everything possible to get back to the Barcelona of old with Xavi Hernandez Inesta and Busquet, especially having two chance's and converting those two chance's into goal.

They need to step up them game, especially ahead of the next champions league fixture with Bayern Munich. The first leg showed they played better but couldn't win all because, they didn't take those two good chances they had. ( Both from Robert Lewandoski and  the Spanish youngin Pedri )

I think with Xavi's experience, this is not a big problem. Considering the depth of the Barcelona squad this season is very good. For example, Dempay's position is not a core striker, he is only a substitute for Lewandowski and his position can still be replaced by players who are no less great than him, such as Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres. Kounde and De Jong are one of the important pillars at the moment considering their performance is quite good in guarding the midfield and defense of Barcelona.
Actually for De Jong there is some news that he is not too bad but so far I still haven't seen how bad Kunde's injury is now but even so it is very unfortunate that something like this happened in the midst of a busy schedule with games that can be said to be big.

Barcelona's squad is very strong. And I would say there are no flaws in their squad right now. They are strong in defense, midfield and forward. Now they need strong bonds between players.
