There is a difference between this Barcelona and Koeman's Barcelona, there is so much difference between the two. Xavi has really improved this squad with many talented players this time. I personally doubt that Sevilla will get full points in this match, even though Sevilla will play at home but with a performance like that I think it is still difficult for Sevilla to beat Atletico. I agree with you on this one the club have improved lately since after their bought some good players in the last transfers windows, and having Benzema on the team is a big one for El Clasico and this has been seen in the performance in recent their La Liga performance this season have to improve compared to last season performance when players like Benzema were not in the club.

Unpopular opinion here, but let's don't forget that, now more than ever, players are extremely refined products whose mission is to sell and make the team earn as much money as possible. That said, rivalry between two stars like Lewandowski and Benzema is the most profitable relationship one can imagine, like the one between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo a few years ago. Rivalry is boosted to maintain followers excited, but to me it is more artificial, or orchestrated at least, than ever (even without the awareness of the players themselves). Based on the team's performance, I think Atletico Madrid deserves to be favorites in that match against Sevilla even though Atletico Madrid lost to Real Madrid in the last match. Its not really an unpopular opinion at all. These days football is a lot more like a movie, or a tv show and each week is a new episode. All those tv pundits that talk about the games and players and so forth are people who have no intention of talking about football directly, otherwise it could be done in 10 minutes max, but what they want to talk about is creating a narrative and that would make sure that we are getting more fun out of it. You watch the games for 90 minutes, and then we spend the whole week talking about that game and the teams and players etc etc. Its all part of a business nowadays.
