Real Madrid really need a win against Valencia because Barcelona beat Betis yesterday and are 3 points further away from Real. But I think Valencia, who are at the bottom of the standings, will not be a difficult task for Real Madrid and they can get closer to Barcelona. You are right. I am also quite sure that Real Madrid will be able to win in this fight. I think you might be a little bit mistaken here. Unai Emery left Villarreal for Aston Villa and not Valencia.

Having financial problems, especially being constrained in paying players, of course this case will have a negative impact on team performance. Unless Valencia has players who really love the club and/or have high loyalty, then they will still play well even though they are having problems with salaries.
It would be a shame if Valencia had financial problems because Valencia is not a team as big as Barcelona, so it would be difficult for Valencia to overcome this problem.

Unai Emery did so well with Valencia and have made an impression that will be easy to forget in a long time. This season has been so tough for Valencia, the club is facing a tough phase, they struggle week after week to stay consistent and give good results. As if finishing in 9th position last season wasn't bad enough they are currently sitting at 14th position this season just three positions away from relegation zone. Something needs to be done to save the season and prevent Valencia from getting relegated this season let's just hope Gonzalez can step up and be that man Valencia have been looking for to change the situation.

This makes me remember the good old days - when Barcelona kept at the top and real Madrid followed behind simultaneously - you seee, I began to notice the change in form, game play, value and presentation as Barcelona would be begging for a draw win against Madrid even after being topped with several points.

Why do you feel doubt about Real Madrid? They are dominating the match, they are playing at home, and they have a big motivation to shorten the point gap with Barcelona.
