The problem is Real Madrid itself is experiencing a phase of difficulty in scoring goals, that's what they are worried about now. Valencia is not a very tough opponent for Real Madrid, but if they implement a good defense it will create bigger problems for Carlo Ancelotti's squad. Valencia don't seem to be a threat to Real Madrid. As of last 4 to 5 seasons, Valencia used to be a big name in the Spanish Laliga but the standard of the club has dropped so much. In thier last 5 outings, they lost 3, drew 1 and won 1 which is not a good result for them. They will not be able to match the force of Real Madrid.

Of course there is no real threat at home for Real Madrid. Valencia are not a strong team this season where they have only won 5 of the 20 matches played. But I think Valencia can also trouble Real Madrid like his last match in the quarter-finals of the Spanish Super Cup. At that time Valencia managed to force Real Madrid to draw for 12o minutes and the winner was determined by penalty. So even though Real Madrid is the favorite in this match, the possibility of draw cannot be ignored either.

Valencia is also in bad situation after Gennaro Gattuso reached an agreement to terminate the employment relationship. So for this match they are led by Voro or Salvador González Marco as interim coach.

Your expectation is almost wrong, mate. In the 45+3 minute Antonio Rudiger scored a goal, but the goal was disallowed after VAR. Real Madrid played quite badly today. Madrid should have got one goal in the first half unfortunately it was annulled but in the first half Madrid still had chances as you say they controlled the game. I was surprised to see that Valencia couldn't do anything without a shot in the first half    I wouldn't be surprised if Madrid scored 2 goals in the 2nd half clearly they seemed more confident.

Today there is no reason for Real Madrid to draw or lose. The first half ended goalless for both teams although Rudiger found the net with header.  Unfortunately, the referee judged that Benzema had committed foul after the protests of the Valencia players which ended with a VAR review. This method and style of play is known with Real madrid over the time, so seeing that they went through the first half with a draw but the major part is the second half where Real Madrid always makes goals records this is how their style of play has been for quite some time now.

Things are not going well in tonight game for Real Madrid as they are having difficulties to score against Valencia,this reminds me of the gold times of Valencia fighting for the title where Real had a lot of difficulties to win.I know this is not the case here and most likely they are going to win this game,in fact it is their last chance otherwise they can say goodbye to the title fight if they don't win this game and all of their focus should shift to the Champions League.

Real Madrid is finding it difficult to score after Rudiger's goal was cancelled which ended the first half in goalless draw. Shit and this is really shit. I'm not sure the referee should have ruled out our goal in the first half because Benzema didn't commit serious foul. It was a mistake and the referee shouldn't have helped Valencia like this, besides yellow card is ridiculous gift for Benzema.

This was a bit disappointing because in the first half, Real Madrid's goal was disallowed. but it is. And I was worried about whether they would have another chance in the future. but all those doubts and worries immediately disappeared when in less than 3 minutes, Real Madrid was able to immediately lead by 2 goals in this second half. They're really impressive. I'm sure they can win this time. At least, they can add the points in the standing and closed again to Barcelona in the first standing.
