There was a foul before that goal and caused it was rejected by the referee after taking VAR signal. However, the player made that foul is not Rudiger but Benzema who even got a yellow card with that situation.

In the match, Benzema missed one good key pass from Modric but he created two assists to Asensio and Vini Jr. as well as at least one key pass which was wasted by his team-mate too. The back heel of Benzema reminds me about a back heel from Guti to Benzema about 10 years ago.

Madrid played with all amount of seriousness even from the first half. They needed to win after the draw against Sociedad and I'm happy they achieved it. Marco Asensio's brilliant goal was the main eye-opener after Madrid was so lucked with Valencia's defense that later seemed formidable in The second half. If only Valencia will be able to maintain a good counterattack pattern with the creative central 9, I quest they would have succeeded against strong opponents like Madrid and Villareal.

I think every week now will be a game in favor of Barcelona including next week's game against Sevilla. Sevilla as we know this season played far from what was expected, they worked so badly that they had to be at the bottom of the standings for some time. Now Sevilla is much better, but I don't think it will be enough to stop Barcelona who are in top condition. It will be very difficult for Sevilla to at least get 1 point in next week's game.
