I don't know what's wrong with Elche players in this match. It was very surprising, too many red cards.

Three red cards are harmful for Elche and they got three conceded goals and lost against Betis in a very exciting match. The first penalty for Elche is very funny but Elche were awarded a penalty and they scored. A few minutes later, they scored a second goal and led Betis 2 - 0. It looks like a rosy first half for Elche.

Things changed completely in the second half, started with a penalty for Betis and a few minutes later, Betis equalized the match. Two handballs and two penalties for Betis but they only successfully converted a second penalty in 95th minute. Finally Betis won but I think the penalty from a handball situation of Roco is too strict decision from the referee.

I don't think Xavi will be sacked if he misses out on winning league trophy this season. Before Xavi came to Barcelona, the club was a mess and they were struggling to win games. Xavi brought back confidence and stability to the team and has gone ahead to win one trophy this season. The team has shown much improvement this season which should be something the board of directors should be happy about and he still has more time to develop the team even more.

He won't be sacked as he actually has done good job with Barcelona. In addition, they will have big trouble to find another coach for the club. Maybe Xavi fails to help them winning titles but he managed the team well to stay in the first, second and at least top four of La Liga. No guarantee that another coach will keep up a position in top four for Barcelona.

With Xavi, they have a very good sentiment in the club among players and coach as well as fans. If they hire another coach, maybe they will have to fall into another crisis like with Koeman.

Anyway I don't think Barcelona will lose La Liga with advantage they have now.
