It was a really surprising match for me. I was expecting Real Madrid to destroy Atletico Madrid in the derby. But instead they could have even lost the match there indeed. The reason is that Real Madrid had one of their poorest days about finding the target. The shots were just too bad in both halves.

I am also surprised with the result, I assume Real Madrid will win with big scores.
Real Madrid destroyed Liverpool with 5 goals previously, it was at Liverpool home. Now, the match is in Real Madrid home, it should be an easier match for Real Madrid. In fact, Real Madrid gets a draw although they dominate the match against Atletico Madrid. TBH, I am disappointed with the result, I think Real Madrid has lost the opportunity to chase Barcelona.

I think Barcelona will make the point gap bigger with Real Madrid tomorrow. Almeria isn't a tough competitor for them.

Of course, Almeria is a very easy opponent of Barcelona. It is a club in the relegation zone, everyone must expect Barcelona to win with big scores. I guess Barcelona will win with more than 2 goals.

Real Betis was very lucky in the game due to red cards given to Elche players, in the second half they were able to score two goals in the space of three minutes. Real betis realised their first and third goal through penalties  apart from the several red cards given to Elche they were not just lucky, they had foul ball which led to penalties. The game was very interesting, I thought it will be a victory for Elche after several defeat in the season, but Real Betis were so lucky to lead.

Yes, it's big luck added to the struggle of real Betis when against Elche. However after the red cards, finally Real Betis was able to make some goals and then defeat Elche with 3 goals against 2 goals. Well, Elche really missed the chance to win because of their mistakes although actually, they have tried to play quite well in this match. And their position is still at relegation.  

You are totally wrong. Real Madrid lost two points in this match while they compete with Barcelona on La Liga, and every point is important for them. Although Angel Correa was sent off 25 minutes before the end of the match, Real Madrid wasn't able to score more than one goal. On the other hand, Atletico played as they usually play.

It seems that it is quite impossible that Real Madrid can take over first place again. If Barcelona wins against Almeria tomorrow, the point difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be 10 points. This really makes a good point for Barcelona. Now they only focus on La Liga and moreover Real Madrid's performance in La Liga is quite bad for several matches.

What an interesting match really. Despite all that superiority and dominance by Real Madrid still Atletico Madrid were the team to get ahead first. Atletico Madrid scored first even though they got a red card before. Real Madrid could have even lost the match if it weren't for the youngster Alvaro Rodriguez's goal in the last minutes. I wonder what the reason behind this 1-1 draw for Real Madrid. Maybe it was due to their not being able to fully concentrate on this match while they were still celebrating the huge win in the Champions League.

But in this way Real Madrid are just giving away the league title to Barcelona I'm afraid.

From the beginning of this match I know it will not be easy for Real Madrid to win atletico Madrid due to defensive game Atletico Madrid always play and Real Madrid current form in the league. Atletico Madrid believe strong their defensive, infact their one of the best teams that can play 10 men and they will not concede more goals like, and the pattern always favor the team. Now that Real Madrid have loss point, that is going to be a great advantage for Barcelona who is at the top of table to be more comfortable. If Barcelona can win tomorrow game against Almeria the gaps point will be 10, which I may say Real Madrid to say bye to laliga trophy for this season.

It's all in the hands of Barcelona to make the points  upto 10. Then it will be completely overfor real Madrid and I know Barcelona will not fail to flaw Almeria by a very large number tomorrow. According to you Real has given up on the laliga chess but it wasn't intentional.
There are alot of pressure because they played without Benzema in most of their matches this season.

I am not too happy with this result because indeed with this result it is clear that they are having more and more difficulties in navigating the current season, especially with this 1 point further distancing them from Barcelona who are indeed most likely to win full points now and if this is true then 10 points cannot be avoided.

I had already commented on this before this game, Atlético Madrid in the last few games has a very strong defense that hardly concedes goals, and they only need to score 1 goal to win the games, this is the damn strategy that Atletico's coach likes to use. use and that gives results, not even real madrid playing with karin benzema could not win that game, one thing is already clear: if barcelona wins tomorrow, it is already champion, I doubt very much that with a big difference in points combined with the fact that real madrid are an inconsistent team they will not be able to win la liga this season, barcelona just win the game against almeria will be with a great distance of points

It's a shame that Real Madrid couldn't get a win against Atlético Madrid and ended with a draw. If Real Madrid got the win, he managed to get quite a lot of additional points and still secure his position in the top three at the top of the standings.

That's very very disappointed result by real madrid. I don't know what thing that makes real's performance is actually different compared with when real was playing in UCL. Atletico madrid is quite strong against real madrid. Barcelona may try to make the gap even bigger than before.

I think it's related to la liga and not EPL. Real can still achieve some trophies by focusing on the match in copa del rey and UCL. How can the performance from real madrid is very difference with UCL? This is a question that has not answered yet.
Another bad result by madrid made additional two points gap the barcelona. Barcelona looks so difficult to chased by real madrid now.

Valencia got the 3 points today against real sociedad, an own goal was enough for them to get them a foot out of the relegation zone, Getafe and Almeria still didn't play their matches but i don't think they can do much against Barcelona and Villarreal, so Valencia would still be in the 17th position after the round ends.

Sevilla - Osasuna is a game to be played tomorrow. Sevilla are advantageous due to playing a home game but I don't expect a very comfortable win either. Because Osasuna are technically have a higher placement than them now. But Sevilla need to keep winning as many games as possible to get away from the relegation zone. Because there is only a gap of three points with the zone now.

Maybe it could be by a small gap but I expect to see Sevilla getting the win. They have eliminated PSV in the Europa League new and this can also be a motivation source here.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are doing everything possible to make sure Barcelona win the league this season after all, lol. I really don't know if I would consider the season a success for Barcelona if they're only able to win the league, because it was embarrassing enough, to have been eliminated in the group stages of the UCL by Benfica, but we couldn't go further than the round of 32 in Europa League as well. Should the team win against Almeria today and go 10 points clear, that's surely a done deal for the league, since there is no other competition to prepare for, as I don't find Copa del Rey to be that significant imo, but maybe playing against Real Madrid could make still worth cheering for.

Real Madrid is almost certain to be out of contention for the title this season, playing a draw with Atletico Madrid makes Barcelona have the advantage to widen the point difference from them. Almeria is a team at the bottom of the standings that are in the relegation zone, so getting full points against them will be easy enough for Barcelona and now they can fully concentrate on La Liga as Manchester United have eliminated them in the Europa League.

Playing at the Santiago Bernabeu and being superior in the number of players did not make Real Madrid win the match. Coppa del Rey is not a big interest of Barcelona and Real Madrid and they will focus on La Liga (Barcelona) and Champions League (Real Madrid). Barcelona have a chance to increase their gap with Real Madrid to 10 points after a draw of two Madrids. With ten points, they will have very good difference and likely will take the crow in La Liga.

Barcelona have another reason to fight in Coppa del Rey if they have too good big gap in La Liga but Real Madrid will have to focus more on Champions League. Coppa del Rey is something very extra for Real Madrid in their considerations.

I don't know why Real Madrid lost so many points in La Liga after World Cup 2022. Maybe their old players were affected by World Cup 2022 and they returned to La Liga with exhausted bodies that impact their performances too negatively.

That seems to be another expensive loss of points for Real Madrid in its home game against Atletico Madrid. Atletico are ahead with a few minutes to play. Who knows what is still possible for Atletico. Championship is in if Baracelona also wins this weekend. Then the lead is 11 points, then you can see how fast things have gone after the winter break. They stand for a cartload of points. And good for Atletico's confidence to win at city rivals Real. Real Madrid were in pretty good shape, so this defeat will feel totally unexpected.

Honestly, after seeing the Real Madrid versus Liverpool game and how Real Madrid made a incredible comeback and scored 5 goals I expected Madrid to score a lot of goals against Atletico Madrid but the result was disappointing. Real Madrid were sloppy and conceded a goal to fall behind but luckily were able to secure one back to finish the game in a draw. Now Barcelona have another opportunity to increase their lead tomorrow.
