I really thought Barcelona would qualify for the final. Madrid always come good at this stage of the season don’t they, something magical about that club, an aura. Who would bet against them winning the CL again.

Match requirements will be prestige and tension today. 11 yellow cards (7 for Barcelona and 4 for Madrid) is really very interesting but judging from the condition of Barcelona it looks like they lost focus and played rough in this match. Regardless of whether the trophy is important or not, this is once again prestige. Madrid had given up the previous Supercopa cup and most likely La Liga would be the same, when this is given back then Madrid will obviously lose face so now with this win at least Madrid's chance to bring the trophy this season is still maintained even if it's only the Copa Del Rey trophy.

Benzema was the best in la liga the last few seasons after ronaldo and messi left, but lewy was always in top form when he was at bayern munich and i am very disappointed he left there. Even though Munich is a comfortable home and he can get many more titles there.

Xavi didn't even expect if real madrid will be changing its formation to the same as barcelona. barcelona is over self-confidence caused by thinking that if real madrid will be repeating the same mistake. Ancelotti gives us surprise caused by he was using the same formation as barcelona which was making barcelona is feeling so hard to create even a single goal. every game will be important for Xavi. they lost the Champions League and the Europa League. now their only hope is in La Liga. and that will definitely be a focus for Barca.

You could probably say this was the game where the defensive unit was dysfunctional the most. I was surprised that Xavi knew about moments in football. Barcelona's performance has never reflected that. They knew Real Madrid quite well with taking chances in the second half, yet they squandered theirs earlier. Madrid completely turned the game around with their performance. Real Madrid came back strong after a first-half dominated by Barça, and they rightfully earned their victory. The team really showed their hunger to win, which had been missing in recent times. I was really impressed with Carlo's lineup today, and I think he should definitely keep using it going forward. While it's true that Barcelona had some chances to take advantage of the spaces left by Real Madrid, they ultimately failed to capitalize on them. In my opinion, this just goes to show that on the big stage, Barca still have a long way to go if they want to beat the big clubs and win titles. Despite this setback, I think they still have a strong chance in Laliga, so we'll see what happens there. Yeah, Araujo had a fine save hitting his hips on the wood work, Frank Kessie was also bossing the midfied and having a great game but eventually the tide turned and Real Madrid side of the game finally.
