That's an interesting theory about Barcelona's bankruptcy in case they are found guilty. I believe that in European soccer there are a few clubs that are too big too fail and Barcelona is still vital for La Liga. Not as much as a few years ago, but too much to let them fall. I guess the clasico has too much of a global meaning in many respects and not least financially and for promotion of the league. Manchester City and the Premier League is the same. Their financial issues have been going on for over half a decade and in the end hardly anything will happen.

The problem is that if one club is nuked for some wrongdoings and then other clubs have to be judged by the same standard, the UEFA must fear that their competitions loses appeal.
