Last week Villarreal only drew against Getafe and today they failed to win at home against Las Palmas with a score of 1-2. This is a bad result for Villarreal because in the last 5 La Liga matches they were only able to win once against Almeria. Today's defeat at home to Las Palmas means they are still at the bottom of the standings and I think they will still experience difficulties for the next few weeks if they continue like this. Since changing coaches some time ago, they have not shown positive results in La Liga and maybe this season Villarreal will not be as good as last season.

Villareal have not been able to find their feet in the league and they continue to suffer one bad result after another. With only 2 wins in 9 matches so far, Villareal are close to the relegation zone.
In the match between Atletico Madrid and Sociedad, it was the home team that won. In the battle of two in-form teams, Atletico Madrid won 2-1 with 2 goals and added an important 3 points to their score. I think Barcelona needs to take a look back into what is making it so hard for them, and the yneed to figure out the root of the problem. They have some amazing young talent there is no doubt about that. Pedri, Gavi, Balde, Yamal these are all incredibly young, and I mean like way too young, oldest of them is pedri at 20, and players like De Jong, Araujo, Raphinha, Kounde, Felix (loan but he may join) Torres are all young as well, oldest is 26 with De Jong.

So when you think about it, they have built an amazing team that are filled with star potential level players who are young and could play as much as 10 years, some even more with only maybe one of them not 10 years. So when you have a team like that, you need to find what's missing so that you could literally go without transferring anyone. These type of games are tough on that path, and needs to be less and less.

Disappointed if you ask for my opinion about how Barcelona played. This is a game they should have taken all three points but they couldn't.
I'm not here to judge or criticize but then, they should be more ready and focused on beating Atletico Bilbao when they host them at Camp Nou.

They're my best bet to win the Spanish League at the end of the season. That can't be if they don't show consistency when mandatory.

Barcelona on the other hand, once again failed to secure a win outside against Granada 2-2 drawing the match and for the third time this season. well I must say that a draw is better than losing but they needed more than that. They have now dropped back to 3rd place or even possible 4th place if Atletico Madrid wins their next late match. It's an important  moment for them to find and address their issues and consider reinforcing certain areas of their team, defense lines I would say because they always receive a quick goal in first minutes.

There is no denying that in this match Granada's quick surprise attack was very good. They took advantage of Barcelona's defensive laxity in the 1st minute by making a quick attack that made Barcelona have to rack their brains more when they were 1 goal behind in the first minute which made them intensify their attacks and that made the defense weaken.
This is a very good result for Granada but not for Barcelona because even though they got 1 point but with this result their margin with Madrid has increased because now they must be 3 points behind.
It is very unfortunate when looking at Granada's current condition 3 points should be able to get Barcelona in this match.
