I am also very confused about what Sevilla has experienced since last season until this season, because when Sevilla managed to get the European League trophy last season while their local league was not good enough it raised big questions. I was quite disappointed that Girona couldn't win Almeria after several opportunities that they had, or is it that Girona wants to start declining in performance, because this is not the Girona that do win big clubs and they couldn't win a club that is very close to relegation. Girona have started to drop point, which means that they might not be able to continue the league race with Real Madrid if it is true that they want to start facing problems of consistency in their match. However, this is one of the worst performance from Girona this season and I wouldn't use it to judge their future performance. This was a disappointing game for Girona because they expected to win and keep leading the La Liga table. This raw has allowed Real Madrid to top the Spanish league if they can win the game against Almeria. We saw a very weak attack from Girona while the underrated Almeria created some goal-scoring opportunities. I also appreciate the Almeria defence because of the ability to curtail Girona attackers. They have great players, but they don't have a really good striker to rely on this season.

It was really a disappointing result for Girona, honestly speaking I never saw this result coming.
