The favorite name is Atletico Madrid, they made it to the semi-finals and eliminated Real Madrid from the cup. Even though Atletico Madrid is the absolute favorite, Atlético Bilbao is also a dangerous team, I still think Atletico Madrid will win the King's Cup. It's like an Atletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid final and this final will be very high tension, it's a matter of curiosity which team will suppress the other team.

I agree with you Atletico Madrid is clearly a favorite they have gone through this competition with a good record and they shouldn't waste it. We already have 4 teams in the semi -finals and 3 of them are the best clubs in La liga I mean the teams in top 6 only Mallorca was surprisingly successful in reaching the semi-finals, Mallorca played poorly in La liga but managed to beat Girona in the Copa del Rey, things we never thought of before. I haven't seen the next schedule between the 4 teams  is it not released yet?

It is really interesting that Atletico Madrid is a strong team and they have been successful competing in the Copa del Rey. At present, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club are in the top 6 of the points table in La Liga and both teams have managed to advance from the quarterfinals to the semifinals. On the other hand, Mallorca, who are at the bottom of the La Liga points table, have also made it to the semi-finals by beating teams like Girona. It was really surprising to beat Girona, although Mallorca have performed poorly in La Liga but have a chance to become Copa del Rey champions if they can perform well. All 3 La Liga club teams have qualified for the semi-finals so I think La Liga teams are the most likely to be champions this season.

We don't compare his playing days as a player with his coaching skills and as manager. Lewandowski scored 23 goals only last season. For someone who was the best player in the world and the most successful striker, I think this isn't anything special. Good for him that he won the title for being the best scorer in La Liga, but that was mostly because there was no competition for him. But It was very defensive football and this is not how I like Barcelona. They have been known for being so dangerous, but they scored far less than 2 goals per game. That's certainly not a lot. This season it can be seen that their defensive approach isn't the best to go for, but they don't have the appropriate players to play better than that.

After successfully beating Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid's team is currently the main favorite to win the Copa Del Rey this season, but I don't think so because I see that Atletico Madrid's strength this season tends to be inconsistent and on the other hand, Bilbao also has a quality team that is quite capable. At the moment and even Bilbao have the same points in the La Liga standings with Atletico Madrid so I think they can be a serious threat to Atletico Madrid for the Copa Del Rey title.

But believe it or not, I have read a lot of comments on this forum how great Xavi is as a coach. I agree with you here that he should be sacked and I never perceived him as a good coach. People are confusing his quality as a player with what he is doing as a coach. He was lucky enough to get into this coaching position due to the past he has as a player with the club. But under normal circumstances I doubt that he would now be there.

Last season they got beaten in the Champions League in such a miserable way and then he got destroyed by Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey. Though he won the La Liga title because Real Madrid was so bad. That was the only positive result about last season. Now I think he will be given the chance in the Champions League and then I think it's possible that some action will be taken by Barcelona's bosses if he gets eliminated early.

Xavi is a coach who is very proud of most people, especially Barcelona fans, because he was able to give Barcelona a trophy La liga last season, but it seems that Xavi cannot maintain the performance that Barcelona has because many Barcelona players are injured and management does not try to support Xavi in spending on the players needed makes it a little difficult for Xavi to improve the condition of the club, in my opinion if Barcelona decides to change coach at this time it seems like it will make things worse because actually what Barcelona needs is not a coach but players with great potential and the management should provide financial support to Xavi if you want Barcelona to keep looking good.

In my opinion, Atletico Madrid remains the favorite and worthy candidate to win the Copa Del Rey title even though Bilbao also has the same performance, but in terms of player depth, Atletico Madrid is superior to Bilbao.
But this just speculation because we cannot yet know what will happen on the one hand, these two clubs have to complete other challenges in LaLiga.

Looked for it on the internet and today is the draw, for the match schedule for February at the beginning and end of the month because it will use a two-legged system, from the draw results we will only be able to judge which of the four teams has a chance of winning, if Bilbao vs Atletico Madrid in the semifinals then the winner will have a great chance of becoming champion, but this does not mean to demean the other teams that are in the final.
My prediction is that Atletico Madrid will have the greatest chance of winning the Copa del Rey this season among their four better teams and that is an assessment of their ranking in the Laliga standings, so there might be a surprise when the teams that are not favorites are motivated to become champions, including Mallorca because by beating Girona it looks like they are very motivated in this cup.

Sociedad vs Rayo

Nobody gave high hope on Girona winning the league this season until their 4 goals to 2 victory against Barcelona last month. I really would have loved to see them win the trophy but this season it would be hard, their real competitor for the league is Real Madrid and they have been in a more excellent form this season than before, Real Madrid will not just sleep on this, they are not the kind of team that like to give any chances to their opponents and this season, we see them do  more on this in their fighting spirit to turn matches around this season and it has really been amazing.

Girona has been impressive this season, as I've followed them. However, Girona's chances of winning La Liga are slim given Real Madrid and Barcelona's strength and history. They shouldnt be written off yet. They've shown play that might land them a top ranking or the title.

Barcelona doesn't have a chance on the league champion this season because they have the worst performance and secondly the only club that will possibly make Girona not to become the champion of this league is real Madrid because they have very strong and capable players that's more experience than Girona.

If FC Barcelona can win their outstanding match, they will be five points behind Girona, who are leading the table in La Liga. And there are still a lot of matches to be played in La Liga that will decide which club will win the La Liga trophy, which will allow Barcelona to close the gap between them and Girona if they keep up winning their matches.

With their current declined in performance, it will be impossible for them to finish top 4 on the table if they continue in the form. Barcelona have also been eliminated from the Copa del Rey by the way just like Real Madrid have. Barcelona also had a tough matchup though. Because Athletic Bilbao are doing a really good job this season. During extra time they stayed stronger than Barcelona. It looks like we are going to have a different champion this time.

Actually we have been used to seeing really unexpected teams to win this cup in the recent years.    Betis, Real Sociedad and Valencia are examples for that. Atletico Madrid are still a part of this cup as a big team. It has been a long time since they last won this title too. I'm favouring them for the title.

Atletico was the last team to advance to the semifinals of the Copa Del Rey and they won after beating Sevilla with a narrow score of 1-0. Memphis Depay became the hero of victory for Atletico after he came on in the 66th minute to replace Alvaro Morata and he immediately scored a goal after 13 minutes, precisely in the 79th minute, to put Atletico ahead of Sevilla. That's what you don't understand when Girona continue to be seen as unconvincing even after having an extraordinary season that closed many open minds. I know you compare it with Madrid, have you also seen Girona success in conquering Atletico Madrid and Barcelona which is proof that Girona existence cannot be taken lightly. Even though they have different strengths Girona does not need to have star players at their club, but with Michel who is able to put together a squad to create the perfect composition. Every match that Girona plays continues to move quickly in a positive direction. Even though I am a Madrid supporter in assessing the development of other clubs, I remain objective there is no reason to underestimate Girona this season. Steadily leading the top of the  standings for several weeks is better than Atletico Madrid and Barcelona who are having a little difficulty catching up on points.

I think Girona is losing this match. The score is currently 3-1 and I think there is no time for Girona to actually make anything out of this match. 94 minutes have already been played and even though Girona is dominating the match in terms of possession, they are not being able to do much with it. So even though it was a little unexpected for me,, I think Girona is actually losing this match. Mallorca is going to be the winner of this match if something absolutely incredible and unbelievable doesn't happen, which I think is not happening to be honest.

The match didn't go well for Girona; they lost, which surprised me a little bit too, as I didn't think they would lose to Mallorca a weak team that can't compete with Girona. However, Girona was losing 3:0 in their first half about 35 minutes, which Mallorca has scored three goals. I don't even think Girona could have scored two goals in that match, but they indeed made an effort to score at least two goals. It wasn't an easy match from the start; maybe Girona starting to lose their strength. Some clubs find it difficult to maintain their strength throughout the season, and as a result, their play seems to be weakening.

Almeria have not won a single win so far in twenty-one matches and this is something that is very surprising and could be said to be their performance being the worst among other relegated team. Almeria only won 6 points because of the draw and were already 5 points behind the team above them and 9 point behind the team 3rd from the bottom (Cadiz).
Favoring Almeria there is nothing wrong because playing at home, maybe it could be their hope to catch up because Almeria has managed to hold Girona the current leader of the standing, to a draw and that is quite astonishing, while Alavés performance with Girona is different, so I think Almeria can beat Alavés and maybe with a score of 1:0
