Atletico with 5 winning streak, their last loss were against Real Madrid and their last encounter in Copa Del Rey ended with a winning and a revenge for the previous encounter in Super Cup. If you all noticed this season the number of encounters between them today might be a very entertaining derby to determine whose stronger.

Basically Real Madrid always has a chance to win, moreover at this moment Real Madrid still has a competing team that is also consistent in the title race and that is Girona. So yes, playing at home against Atletico is certainly a good chance for Real Madrid to get three points. They've seen Atletico Madrid as a big threat this very season but I do not think any one of them would win this game today. Diego Simeone has seen a rise both in the La Liga Competition and also the Copa del Rey actions.

The match was ended in a draw, and I believe this was a match from which Girona could have actually got three points. I can strongly say they could have played better and if they could have kept themselves on the side for a couple of times, they could have done better. I can't deny that's really both of the teams could have done better or at least have scored in this match if they could keep themselves on side. Also the goalkeeper of both teams needs to be praised.

It's hard to guess it. I meant that real madrid was on advnatage caused by it will be playing at home and real madrid must be performing even better to prevent atletico madri to win the game of it at home. The first leg was not going so well against atletico madrid caused by real madrid was losing with huge margins against its rival.
The second leg must be the revenge for real madrid caused by atletico madrid can also threaten real madrid's position. this is the golden chance to make the gap even larger than before. Atletico madrid needs to put effort caused by im sure real madrid will always be attacking it.

True but we can't use the result from last match against getafe to determine the result against atletico madrid. Atletico madrid is far stronger compared to the girona. Having 1.72 odds for madrid is pretty good though. The only problem what strategy is gonna be used by atletico madrid.
I am concerned about Atletico Madrid potentially adopting a defensive strategy against it, which is making me feel worried. Real madrid may be also feeling frustrated against the wall being formed by atletico madrid. This is gonna be the most interesting match to watch soon.

The Real Madrid Spanish La Liga home game against Atletico Madrid tonight is undoubtedly the strongest and most interesting match in the Spanish La Liga this weekend and from my observation, i think there'll be a lot of goals I'm the game.
Real Madrid's only defeat this season in the league was in the hands of Atletico Madrid so I expect them to try revenge for the that league defeat as well as the defeat that ensured their elimination from the Copa Dey Rey in the hands of Atletico. I won't judge Barcelona like that this season because what they are getting now is very different from what they got last season. Barcelona got another win which is against Alaves this time. The final score was also quite decent to improve the morale of the players. But the weakness in defense is still clearly seen.  

I don't feel like it will ever get better than this during the rest of the season either. As long as it is enough to keep them in top four it would still be some consolation for Barcelona. I'm mentioning this because Athletic Bilbao aren't far away from top four now. It would be like a nightmare for Barcelona if they don't even manage to join the Champions League. I hope things don't come to that point.

The lapses of Barcelona defenders can vividly be noticed as I was even surprised that they conceded a goal against Alaves last night though Barcelona did a great job by winning the match by 1:3 but however, they still need more improvement and consistency to make sure they are comfortable at the top four positions in other to book a spot in the champions league next season.

Barcelona might not be too consistent though but they're doing well because I don't think they've falled below the top six position since the beginning of the season so that's equally to show how resilient they have been in other not to be too loosed to defeat all what Barcelona needs to bounce back now is more intelligent players to tackle more especially in the defense area because that's mostly where their errors occurs most times so if they could get a solid defense then I believe the midfielders and the strikers can get the job done by scoring goals. Athletico Bilbao might seems to be very consistent on trying to move to the top four positions but I don't think they can really make it due to the current form of all the teams in the top four positions.

Both teams need three points for different purposes. The Big Match will present high tension because as has happened before, El Derbi Madrileno will be hot.

But for some good reason there are two clubs that could thwart those standard plans and bring about a surprise for all the football followers around the world. In the last 10 years, Real Madrid have only won the La Liga title 3 times, while Bayern have won 10 out of 10 titles, so I think this anology is inappropriate. Girona has been quite awesome this season, but they should have won this game, the fact that they failed to get a win means that Real just has more chances, and they are just giving them the title. Not only that, but the points difference is just six with Barcelona, and I still keep saying that Barcelona could finish second this season behind Real Madrid. If that happens, all this Xavi thing was for nothing if you ask me, a year where he won the title and a year when he gets second place is not a bad thing, what did they expect a manager that would win every year?

The outcome of this match will be very hard to predict for both teams. They are both currently in the race for the league title although Real Madrid are ahead of them in standings and have a better chance to finish at the top spot ahead of Atletico Madrid who are also in top four standings in the league. For Real Madrid, a win in this match will give them a good change to maintain their lead and finish in top spot ahead of Girona. But for Atletico Madrid, it will be a chance to maintain their standings on the table and to finish in top four. Girona will want Real Madrid to drop points in this match to reduce their point gap but Real Madrid will also want the point gap to increase. The both teams are at same level of energy for this game and Atletico playing from home still feels like an upper hand for them to win the match to me.
