I don't really agree with your opinion that these two clubs are in bad form, but here I say that Rayo Vallecano is much better than Sevilla, from the results of the five matches played by both of them, Rayo Vallecano is much better and Sevilla hasn't felt it at all. winning from the five matches they played, they even only drew once when they hosted Osasuna last week, Rayo Vallecano's ranking is in 13th position in the class, different from Sevilla which is in 17th position in the LaLiga class at the moment, not a good thing in my opinion. Lol.. I guess @Velvet78 wanted to say point loss. They actually dropped points in that match. The match was ended in a draw, and I believe this was a match from which Girona could have actually got three points. I can strongly say they could have played better and if they could have kept themselves on the side for a couple of times, they could have done better. I can't deny that's really both of the teams could have done better or at least have scored in this match if they could keep themselves on side. Also the goalkeeper of both teams needs to be praised.

Talking about qualifying for the position of the top team I don't think there's any qualifications with league games like this except for tournaments where teams from other leagues are coming to play but I understand that to be at the top of the la Liga table, that fixture will really have a lot to do for both teams and they are both away of how crucial the game is.

I still believe real Madrid is going to further strengthen their position at the top of the table by winning the game against girona in their next fixture even if Giron will still prove difficult to beat because they want to get back at the top of the table again where they once were, but then if they win and get ahead of Madrid, I'm sure Madrid will still be able to get ahead of them because two points isn't enough for them not to be able to cover up for in the shortest time but Girona may not be able to do same if they lose.

Apart from having to improve the consistency of its performance, Barcelona's chances of winning the title this season really depend on the performance of the other two teams in the standings. Real Madrid and Girona are the two title contenders this season and Barcelona's chances could be better if Real Madrid and Girona drop more points in the remainder of the season. This is still possible so far even though personally I also doubt Barcelona's consistent performance, but they have done their best so far.

I do not ignore any opportunities that Barcelona has to return to its peak performance in the remainder of the season, but all teams and coaches will have difficulty getting their best performance if there are many players injured. Xavi was forced to play more young players brought in from the academy to adjust the team's strategy and needs in difficult times like this, that's not bad because everything has good performance even though it is not as perfect as expected.
