Now the next transfer is being discussed, Mbappe. This type of player would never choose to go to Barcelona at the moment. But he would have 10 years ago when Barcelona was world class.

But there is one huge difference now. I don't think that this is the best Real Madrid team there ever was, but they have less competition in La Liga. They are of course a top star team, no question about that, but remember how the times were when Real Madrid and Barcelona pushed each other towards the 100 points in La Liga, scored an unbelievable number of goals and you had the race between Ronaldo and Messi. Then there was Atletico Madrid, which was a top team for a while. There was so much pushing each other in La Liga, but Barcelona couldn't replace Iniesta, Xavi, Suarez, Neymar, Messi, Puyol and many others. You could see how the team got weaker over time. Real Madrid found some better substitutes.

We have to forget the past because we always miss the matches we used to watch in La Liga between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Before, when Real Madrid and Barcelona were competing, I would drop whatever work I had and sit in front of the TV when the game started. I know why the competition used to be at that time, 90 minutes seemed to go by very quickly, but now when I watch Barcelona and Real Madrid games, sometimes those games are boring. Real Madrid have maintained their consistency but Barcelona now do not have a strong team like Real Madrid that they will compete hard with Real Madrid. 
Although Real Madrid lost the title to Barcelona last season but this season Real Madrid has come back again. Real Madrid is currently the best team in La Liga and there is no doubt that Real Madrid is one of the best teams in Europe.

After the match Mallorca has three matches remaining and they are in position 17th in the table having a six points away from the relegation zone, which am not convinced with the current points gap because it's too small to be maintain due to the current form of the team, both Mallorca and Las Palmas both draw their last two matches against each other, but this time around Mallorca should be able to win Las Palmas because Las Palmas are really facing serious decline in their performance to the extent that they could not even draw a match in their last five matches, they were defeated in the all matches while Mallorca only faces three defeats and draw two, and this is my reason why I said Mallorca should do better than Las Palmas especially when they are the host.

Mallorca was able to win this match and I think now they are absolutely clear of any problem of being relegated. the way these teams just above the relegation zone are performing, I think the relegation zone is almost set for this season. I do not think that there is any chance for the teams that are in the relegation zone to actually get out right now.

I also will say that both of these teams, Mallorca and Las Palmas are also not going to have any problem with the relegation zone. Now I believe all the teams that are towards the bottom of the table are going to prepare for the next season. Because this season is pretty much done for them. But to be honest I had better expectations from all the teams that are in the relegation zone. I thought that they would be able to at least have a good competition to get out of the relegation zone. I think that is the least we could expect from them. I don’t think it has already been mathematically proven that they cannot get out of the relegation zone. but I am pretty sure it doesn’t matter with the difference in points that have already been created

Girona have missed out on several attempts to beat Deportivo Alaves and had a 2-2 draw tie with them. I would consider it a preferable result other than a defeat, Girona looks unserious with La Liga matches because they're no longer in competitive race for La Liga title and have also secure a top spot in the UEFA Champions League next season. However their draw tie means another opportunity for Barcelona to turn things around and end second position on the table.

It's really unfortunate what happened to Girona last night, the draw against Alaves put them on the verge of becoming runners-up if Barcelona were able to win this week's match, with the fierce game played by these two teams Giroma almost won but Girona was overwhelmed and conceded in the minutes Finally, in the final minutes of the match Alaves managed to equalize the lead to 2-2.

However, this draw will not have fatal consequences for Girona because they have already won tickets to the Champions League next season and being runners-up this season may have failed, but what they have done this season is a big improvement.

To the people who have been following up with the performance of Girona from the beginning of the season will know that if Girona finish at any position less than second then they have not really performed to their best consistently because with the way they started this season and with the number of teams they have defeated if they miss the first position they do not need to miss the second. I think the result that Girona recorded last night will definitely have nothing to do with their performance in the remaining matches because they were able to secure a draw not a loss so they will have the strength to fight until the end of the season, even though they end up not finishing as the runners up, they are sure of finishing in the 3rd place in the league. When I look at Girona, they always remind me of Leicester City in the Premier League Competition. It's just so hurting to see they didn't get to win nothing after a successful season.

Yeah Leicester even ended up with relegating to the Championship however they are going to be back in the Premier League next season.    I feel like Girona will also not be able to maintain this look in the La Liga next time. Two years back the la Liga used to be one of the most interesting a d very competitive league asides the champions league, some times we could even say the competition we see in the premier league a d the la Liga were almost the same but then in recent times it's been the reverse as it's even looking like they are slacking a d the League keeps getting bored to the point that underdogs could find their way to the top and not been challenged.

Since Barcelona went down with their financial crisis it's been a hill silde of decline for them as they seem to not get any better by the season but then I think they are gradually getting out of the whole financial issues and with that they will be able to get to improve probably when they will be able to afford some of the things that will help them get better and this could aswell include player as aswell too but then I think it's very possible that by next season since they will be having xavi staying back they will be able to achieve quiet a lot and getting back to be able to challenge Madrid just as they have done in previous seasons, their glory days can be restored all they need is that diligence.

Madrid is actually going to have it very competitive next season and they are all going to get back the la Liga frenzy again hopefully just like in the days of Messi and other top players that got la Liga really interesting. Real Madrid is the only la Liga team that has been able to still maintain their records all along after all these days of the weakness experienced by top la Liga teams like Barcelona, I'm hoping that the next El clasico in the la Liga next season will be such that will be as interesting as it used to be before now.

I don't know why Real Madrid was given a very big odd of 1.66 in their match against Getafe today. Yeah, that really some good news, I've missed the sight of Jamie Vardy and Ndidi. More importantly was Okazaki lol. These are player's that fought and won it the hard way. Learnt once in twenty years in the Premier League Competition, underdogs just like Leicester City come up to things like this.

I agree with this, let's take Leicester City as example, they was not that club that won the Premier League Competition in the new season also, they had too much games from the Champions League Competition and other Competitions, like Fa Cup and Carabao Cup. Girona also would be bombarded with lots of games and I double doubt they will be able to keep up with the pace. Just as you said, I want to see them surprising.

Having a competition between two teams that peak like Barcelona and Madrid did when Messi and Ronaldo were there, is probably a specialty that happens only so often in a lifetime. As you said once you saw these games for years and years, it is almost as you get spoiled for everything that's to come when all these superstars are gone. The clasico from today is not the clasico from back then. But I think that there was also a special atmosphere in this particular game that made it the most followed club game in the world. When Manchester City and Liverpool play against each other, those are top teams, but it is not the same. Wondering if we get to see something similar in club football. It's right, putting everything aside and switch the TV on to see the clasico - that is how it was back at the time.

But there is one huge difference now. I don't think that this is the best Real Madrid team there ever was, but they have less competition in La Liga. They are of course a top star team, no question about that, but remember how the times were when Real Madrid and Barcelona pushed each other towards the 100 points in La Liga, scored an unbelievable number of goals and you had the race between Ronaldo and Messi. Then there was Atletico Madrid, which was a top team for a while. There was so much pushing each other in La Liga, but Barcelona couldn't replace Iniesta, Xavi, Suarez, Neymar, Messi, Puyol and many others. You could see how the team got weaker over time. Real Madrid found some better substitutes.

We have to forget the past because we always miss the matches we used to watch in La Liga between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Before, when Real Madrid and Barcelona were competing, I would drop whatever work I had and sit in front of the TV when the game started. I know why the competition used to be at that time, 90 minutes seemed to go by very quickly, but now when I watch Barcelona and Real Madrid games, sometimes those games are boring. Real Madrid have maintained their consistency but Barcelona now do not have a strong team like Real Madrid that they will compete hard with Real Madrid.

I think most stars have gone from Barcelona which are not replaced as they should have with other good players while Real Madrid has changed their superstars with great other players which are giving to Real that edge not only in La Liga where they have already won it several weeks ago but also they were capable to beat Manchester City in the Champions League which is no small feat nowadays,they are in the final of the Champions also with huge percentage of chances to win that trophy too.As for the El Classico it is not the same when between the two teams there is a huge difference in players quality,of course it would not be as beautiful as it was when both teams had their glorious times.
