What a match? 45 minutes into the first half and 5 goals have now been scored with Barcelona making a 3-goal comeback after being 2 goals down.

Atletico Madrid's two quick goals early in the first half were a surprise that could have made Barcelona's mentality collapse, but that didn't really happen. Alright, we can all agree that today's Copa del Rey game is a bit wild  :)though is not something new seeing those kind of early goals and come back, the goal time difference was just so close for each team....
Let's see if the second half is going to be as interesting as the first one but I don't think Barcelona goes for goal that much in second match unless they are forced to and it's kinda looking like it somehow. I have seen Barcelona play for several years but what I'm seeing tonight is completely different and represent the best I have seen Barcelona play. From two goals down they are up and leading by one goal at half time, this is what I called classic football, the type similar to Liverpool  against AC Milan champions league final. At this score and with the pace that Barcelona is playing, they will likely win the match.

If any team can make 2 goals under 6 minutes and allow to be draw under a half, that team doesn't deserve that goals. I will say Barcelona was negligent with their defense and didn't know how to react to the stress of Atletico else there no way they will have the capacity to score 3 goals and allow Atletico to embarrass to them with 6 minutes goa, it should have been one so thag everyone will know it was a mistake but it was two goals but better they didn't sleep.

I am looking forward to atleast 2 more goals in fairness play in this second half. Atletico defense is very bad through out the first half. What a nice comeback by Barcelona, some clubs would've given up after the first two goals but Barca players didn't allow their misfortune to weaken then they pressed hard equalized and had a comeback; I just love their team work and how their attackers took advantage on Atletico's poor defence, it seems Atletico got too comfortable with the two goals they had; forgetting who they're playing against, they need to defend properly is they want to win or draw this match. Yamal keeps getting better in every match he's developing faster and I enjoy watching him play. Anyways, I know the second half would be more tougher than the 1st Atletico would be more careful and try to equalize with Someone needs to instruct his defenders more to avoid exposing their defense line.

Atletico started and again in the last minutes Atletico put an end to the match.
When the match was 4-2, I thought it would end 5-2 or 6-2, but Atletico Madrid did not leave the match.
While watching the match, I noticed that ATM spreads onto the field really well. Although Barça dominates the ball, Atm attacks quickly when the ball comes to their feet.
A parenthesis should also be opened to Diego Simeone. The man is not just watching the match from the sidelines, he is actually living the match. I used to be very angry at Simeone for the boring football he played, but I especially like that he has adopted a more offensive style of football this year.
If Atletico Madrid plays like this, they will have a say in the La Liga championship.  The rematch will be on April 2. Another exciting match awaits us.

What a night   already knew Barcelona won't be able to keep up in the second half , if it was early draw then the game could have been different but the fact that they were so relaxed after the two goals ahead which I knew they will likey settle down for two or one goal difference.
Athletico Madrid used the Realmadrid style tonight just as their last game against barca , they wait for the last minute to attack with force and more speed  knowing the defence will be so weak to stop their attacks...

Barcelona went on and scored 2 consecutive goals goals again after their equaliser to bring the score line to 4 - 2 and when we thought it was over, Atletico Madrid struck to make it 4 - 3 and in the closing stages added another one to make it 4 - 4 on the night. And whoa Atletico Madrid fought till the ended and both side ended. In a draw. Atletico didn't give up the kept pushing even down to 90+3' and the got a well deserved draw. This was an engaging and entertaining game to watch. Both sides proved their strength and eagerness to determine their respective position in the table.

Barcelona has gotten the edge of leading with one point and thus has maintained their top position with the one point gap over Atletico. Atletico missed out of this opportunity if they were able to hold on to their early goals they should have found their way back to the second position on the table. This should be another kind of el classico.

At the end, it seems both sides had a bad day in the defensive section. Both teams scored 4 goals each, so it definitely seems both side worked hard for it, just that their defense didn't come to the party. Barcelona had everything under control even at the beginning of the second half, after lewandowski  scored the 4th goal, but things took a U-turn the very moment Barce decided to hibernate themselves.

That late equalizer from Atletico madrid was even the craziest. It all happened in a blink of an eye. All I saw was the referee blowing the whistle to stop the game due to pitch invaders or whatever reason I wasn't too certain of, then he resumed the game, and the next thing I saw was Atletico madrid making a swift transition and launching a quick counter that lead to the goal. They were just too physical on Barce.

It was quite an interesting one though. I can't wait for the return leg.

I would say, Simeone did actualized his game plan, getting to share points with the giants of Barcelona. It was a thrilling game for sure, one that came with so many goals. I never expected such amount of goals in an Atletico Madrid fixture but, the first half had over 4.5 goals and that was something I find uncommon in these kind of games. They both were out for it today but, Atletico Madrid won I would say. A draw is a win for them too and they get to close in on the point gaps in the race for the title.

I respect Barcelona alot but today's draw against Atletico Madrid is a very embarrassing and shameful one. It's crazy that a team like Barcelona bottled a 4:2 lead.

Exactly epic match. And I really salute what Atletico Madrid has achieved this time. They played in Barcelona stadium, but they really could compete with Barcelona very incredible, even 4 goals, each, both, draw.

But the very interesting fact is:
- Alvarez made Atletico Madrid lead first in the 1st minute
- 5 minutes later, Griezmann made Barcelona even hotter with his second goal.
- Atletico Madrid had less ball possession, but their attacks were really effective and accurate, I admit that.

This is a very tense determination, yes, we wait how both will compete in the second leg.

A draw is a draw for both teams. Right now, the tie is still 50/50. Atleti fought hard to keep themselves in the game because if it had ended 4-2, they would have been greatly disadvantaged. There are still 90 minutes to play, and any of these teams could win the second leg.

I believe this loss is on Flick. He made changes that simply turned the game around for Atleti. There was no need to take off Pedri so late in the game. If he was already leading by 3 goals it would have been understandable, but a 2 goal lead is very fragile when its Atletico.
Lets see how the second leg would be, I hope its as interesting as the first.

I think the real reason is that the number of fans of these two teams is much higher than other teams in the world. The current situation means that any of them might have a chance to win the trophy and I see a chance for Atletico Madrid among them. Maybe the propaganda is such that you will praise the team you are a fan of to others and give priority to that team when betting. However, the enthusiasm and discussion of the fans outside the field is positive and overall impressive and entertaining for us.

I wouldn't call Real Madrid and Barcelona fans as fans, these two teams posses the the most toxic people you will ever see in football and thats why El clasico isn't just football, it's like a generational war which happen every year atleast twice in a year, even if they don't meet in any other competition, they must meet in home and away in Laliga and it's always toxic, hate, and dragging who ever carry the loss, they don't love each other even the officials.

Well to me it's all about pride and passion for the game. I don't think they are toxic, this is a rivalry and it is supposed to be intense. Rivalry like El Classico brings out the competitive spirit in football making the sport more thrilling to watch. As long as the passion remains respectful it adds to the excitement and legacy of the game. It’s the same way with the derbies in the Premier League.

We have many goals in the first Leg of semifinal Copa Del Rey in the match Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid. Yes, Barcelona scored 4 goals, Atletico Madrid scored 4 goals. Most goals was created in the first half of the match, but we have more 3 goals in the second half of the match. It means both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid keeps playing with an offensive strategy until the end of the match.

Anyway, I think Atletico Madrid has the advantage for the Leg 2. It will be in Atletico Madrid home, they will have an extra motivation to win the match. I'm sure Atletico Madrid will apply a tighter pressing and they will try to score faster in the first half of the match. If they are leading, they will play with a more defensive strategy in the second half of the match.

The Copa De Rey match has been over with a draw. Both teams share 8 goals on the scored baord 4 by Barcelona and 4 by Atlético Madrid. I was expecting that Barcelona would win the match, but at the end the game twists towards the draw. At the start of the kickoff, off Atlactico Madrid spotted first in just a few seconds as well as scored twice goals. But before the half time Barcelona made a comeback from two goals and made an extra goal like with in 3 goals, they charged the first half. But in the last few minutes, Barcelona made some changes which turned the game into 4-4.

Now the Next leg will be decided that who will be the finalists. I think Barcelona will be in the final because they are looking more stronger than Atlatico Madrid.

Lately I have been really amazed by Barcelona who have consecutive win every week, but I still wonder if they can be consistent with this impressive performance because in any case Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will remain great and tough competitors for Barcelona, ​​the La Liga competition this season is different from the previous season.

The rivalry between the two biggest teams in La Liga has always been the best in the history of the Spanish La Liga, the fight has existed for sometime and their fans make it more colorful due to the display you get to see among the fans and the chanting by their fans it's indeed a very good challenge I believe it helps the teams to get motivated and be ready to get the best result from the game. EPL had that rivalry most of the team time but a lot of things are no longer the same in the league as the teams that are usually in the rivalry are not performing well in the league but I hope to see them get back soon.
